Smart Cover, beautiful case, incredible price. It puts so many others to shame, especially the ones available from Staples and Best Buy that go for $40+. The leather is obviously not real, but the buckle feels sturdy. The actual cover itself is really lush; I'm not sure what kind of leather it is meant to imitate, but I like it. It's slightly textured, as you can see in the pictures. It feels as though it may actually offer impact protection (though I wouldn't test it out). Overall, super classy and unique. Cons: I have some overheating concerns, though nothing has happened yet. It's just that the iPad is quite securely wrapped in leather all around. If I notice anything, I will provide updates where available. Another small concern is that when the case is fully opened, you will notice that the iPad is fitted into it's encasing through a flap that opens towards the outside of the case. When the flap is tucked in under the iPad, it holds surprisingly well. However, I would consider it better construction to have the flap open towards the inside of the case. Other Thoughts: All in all, for the look, feel and price of this case, I would suggest that the case be seriously considered and purchased Did you find this review helpful?
