Cons: -Short length; had to drill in two 1x4's to secure the mount to the studs. -Sticks out from the wall a bit far. -Heavy. Had some difficulty mounting this to the wall by myself. Cons: Instructions only cover mounting onto a brick wall. Wall brace will not span typical wall studs (it is too narrow). Other Thoughts: If you know how TV mounts work then this is a great deal since the instructions are summed up like this. "Mount the bracket into a brick wall - Install TV". It comes with a nice package of screws, anchors and bolts but only one spacer set. However you are on your own on which hardware to use. When mounted the TV will sit out from the wall about 3-5 inches. But this is fine since you are buying a mount that tilts left, right, up, down and also clockwise/counter-clockwise (for leveling). I was surprised to find the wall brace is too narrow for standard stud spacing. Since you are likely to mounting a heavy TV do not plan on drywall anchors holding this up. Fortunate for me I was able to purchase really long screws and secure it to a horizontal 2x4 on the other side of the wall (in a garage).
