I originally purchased the otterbox which provided amazing protection but made my phone really bulky and the plastic cover became very scratched and unattractive. I saw the flip covers samsung makes for the S3 but the horrible reviews drew me to search for an alternative. I could not be happier with this purchase, the case comes packaged very nicely in a great little box i can reuse for other things. Very good leather quality and the inside has a suede like feel. Comes with a screen protector that i managed to ruin putting on, but that was my own dumb fault (would have been nice added protection, its the thin kind like ghost armor that you have to carefully stick on without getting a lot of bubbles under it). It really gives your phone a tablet case feel, like you have a mini tablet in a slick looking little leather flip case. While it provides no where near as much protection as the otterbox i really wouldn't worry to much if i dropped this, i think it could provide some protection even though its not made for that purpose. It also comes with a nice little screen cleaner that i keep under the phone when i clip it into the back casing. The magnetic clip is also a nice added feature, looks great and is very functional. Cons: If you aren't use to a flip case it will take some time, don't expect to whip this out of your pocket and answer calls you have to unlatch the magnetic clip then flip it open to use. It can be awkward at times, especially if you are holding something in your other hand and don't have 2 hands to do it. The pro's of having this nice flip case far outweigh the inconvenience of having to do the above and i don't consider it really a con since i love the flip style case so much more than the traditional otterbox style case i had. Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a nice, leather flip case that offers maximum screen protection and minimal drop protection than buy this you will not regret it. Very high quality materials, extremely functional and looks great. Already received a lot of compliments and you can tell people want it once they see how cool it makes your phone look.
