Seems to be well made, no issues so far. Cons: Actually a bit large for a power adapter. Can get fairly warm if used for extended periods. A little pricey. Other Thoughts: I wanted this in order to use a small, portable 12V DC air compressor for bikes and lawn equipment, which is much easier than dragging out my large, 110V compressor. The big compressor is needed for air tools and automotive tires, but not for these other small jobs. So far, this unit has worked well. Pros: Probably a good 5A 12V DC PSU Cons: Seriously! - Telling end consumers to cut-off the adaptor from the cord! - That is just crazy. How long do you think it will be before someone gets one of these, plugs it in and tries to cut the end of with it live! Best outcome is; it shorts the PSU and it dies, worst outcome; electrical shock, burns, etc. Other Thoughts: Then again anyone foolish enough to try and cut the end off a live device (even if instructed to do so) will probably deserves to be shocked.
