They are really small; the entire thing goes into your ear, yet they sound great. Only worry is you pretty much forced to pull them put of the ear by the cord, but with six months' daily use mine still work fine. Probably not good for work-out use since the cloth cord might absorb sweat. If they don't seem to have enough bass, try another set of "gaskets". the rubber that seals them into the ear. Mine need to be pushed in pretty hard. then - boom - the bass sounds great! The quality amazes me - these things are like jewelery. The plug body seems to be ceramic, as does the buds' housings, the metal is completely shiny, even under the rubber seals! Included are extra-small ear gaskets; if you need small buds try these - they come with three sets of small and one set of normal size; the smalls are maybe 1mm different from each other in size, for a perfect fit.
