Pros: Great condition for refurbished unit. Works perfectly. Had factory stickers on it. Plus came with good instructions. Packed well.

Cons: Canister and brush see through plastic was dirty. But in the paper work, it's stated that the unit is tested and cleaned but canister cup is not always cleaned out. Which is fine, I cleaned it out easily. It took a little figuring out. But was able to take it apart clean the area inside the rotating brush assembly. No it looks great! Not worth a drop of an egg cause refurbished.

Other Thoughts: Refurbished is a good option for Dyson products.

Cons: This refurbished Dyson was a great deal and I was hesitant to buy one if it wasn't new. My neighbor had a refurb and it has worked out fine, so I had great expectations from the highly praised "Dyson" vacuum cleaner. After occasional use, the unit's performance has begun to decrease from day 1 to the point of the spinning brush no longer spinning. I don't normally buy refurb items and this item has proven me right.

Other Thoughts: This vacuum is amazing. I have severe dust mite allergies and asthma, and own 3 cats, so having a good vacuum is very necessary. The vacuum is easy to maneuver on both hardwood and carpeting, and easy to empty. The filters are also very easy to clean; the HEPA filter can be rinsed thoroughly with water and dries in 12-24 hours (it needs to be completely dry before placing back in the vacuum). It is also easy to disassemble the vacuum for thorough cleaning (I've gotten cat toys caught in the bottom of the vacuum, and been able to easily get them out).

The only real "con" to this vacuum is the price tag; I keep trying to get my parents to get one, but they balk at the price. It really is a fantastic vacuum, and I have had fewer issues with my allergies and asthma since I switched to the Dyson.

Pros: Works like a champ. Corners well and blows away the Hoover I was making do with. The price was great for a Dyson. Even though it was refurbished I can't tell the difference from new even had all of the various factory stickers you have to remove from the new Dysons before first use.

Cons: Relatively small dust bin/hopper.
