4 out of 5 eggsgood game for more creative stratagies

Pros: great game, lots of fun units, you can use land, air, and sea units, lots of multiplayer maps, and the classic 3 total factions. this game has very large maps that make staying In the game a lot more challenging since enemy attacks are more widespread and forcing you to make multiple bases and to often come up with strategies a bit more complex than a lot of other RTSs. and unlike in other RTSs you have a main command unit that can build and defend itself (there are two loosing conditions total destruction or loosing the command unit)

Cons: playing with other people can prove to be a bit of a hassle, you have some separate program that requires you to set up an account ( no big deal) but the network has had some trouble and last I checked was down. The campaign is long (I've only played 1 of 3) and isn't very guiding, from what I can remember it just repeats objectives and a little advice, after that its sink or swim (but you get the hang of it)

Other Thoughts: Tips for a good start:

when starting in multiplayer first build one matter extractor, then 3 generators, then a unit factory to build workers, send workers to build matter extractors while the rest build defences.

- stack workers for faster builds but also cause faster resource consumption.

- unlimited resources, but unit limit

- set up barriers around your base (leave openings for your units), back them up with turrets in rows 2-3 turrets thick, for air set up AA turrets in clumps of 2x4 (3x4 to 4x5 of tech Lv.3 turrets when threat of air super unit) around to catch areal units in a crossfire.

- every faction has 3 super units that are very OP but they can only be obtained when you teleport in another command robot and take a very long time to build, if you attack in the beginning try to hinder tech advancements.

- in multi, vs the computer the enemy will keep expanding their base making even the lowest difficulty dangerous over time
