4 out of 5 eggsGreat under water pics

Pros: Took great pics during day and under water in well lite areas.

Cons: Night pictures were grainy

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Camera

Pros: This has turned out to be a better camera than I expected. Decided to get something a little more rugged after our Canon died from a 1.5' fall. We always buy a disposable camera when we go to the beach so this kills to birds with one stone. It has a million different settings (too many for me) and takes great pictures. It's been dropped 5 feet onto a cement floor (first day!) and besides a scratch or two is no worse for the wear.

Cons: It has a million different settings... I'm no photo journalist or anything so I don't need all the extra stuff, and the extra stuff is extensive. It doesn't always stay in the setting I set, but it just may be because I haven't yet figured out how to save a setting. Taking a star back just because it is complicated. ....more complicated than our old Canon.

1 out of 5 eggsSLOW, SLOW, SLOW

Pros: Tough, I've dropped it from a roof onto a patio with no ill effects.

Cons: This is the slowest camera I can even imagine. Definitely NOT a point and shoot. Any bright light creates a glare in the photo. The big disappointment is the inability to shoot quick photos. It's just not possible.

1 out of 5 eggsAnnoying

Pros: works as advertised.

Cons: The USB cable that comes with this camera is different from any other cable I have ever seen. I had no idea how annoying this proprietary connection would be until after I had owned the camera. It's incredibly frustrating having to hunt down that darn cable every time I want to connect to the computer or charge the camera. Traveling with this camera, and I misplaced the cable - now I can't just use the typical mini-usb that every other camera in the world comes with. This makes owning the camera more trouble than it's worth, it stays home all the time, and I feel like this purchase was a waste of money.

1 out of 5 eggsuseless

Pros: took underwater shots, had some cool settings

Cons: shutter broke after 2 months, stuck open and camera won't turn on. basically a paperweight now. panorama function was useless, was horrible at splicing pics. for landscape shots already color filtered, so if you were taking a pic of something that wasnt blue or green, was faded usually. greys became blues and visa versa too. took to long to start, always started at a preset setting, not one you left it on last, so would have to reset a lot or just keep it on

Other Thoughts: pics on screen always looked horrible when taking photos, looked better on computer though. my cameras live in my pocket, have a canon powershot (not a tough one) that has lived in my pocket for 2.5 years now across alaska and africa still works, takes great pics, just wanted an underwater one, gonna be buying a canon one

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Takes very nice pictures underwater for the price. Very good all around camera.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Don't know why the other reviewer is saying that you cant dive at 20' with this camera? I know this works because I just used it in the Bahamas to take a ton of pictures of fish while I was diving around 20-25'. The specs specifically say its good to 33'

4 out of 5 eggsStylus Tough 8010

Pros: Great general purpose camera that you can take anywhere.

Cons: The image quality is just so-so. The speed between shots is pretty slow.

Other Thoughts: I like this camera because you can give it to young kids and even with them beating it up and fighting over it, they won't break it.
