It does NOT have the touch screen. Thier specs later say it does not have touch screen. I am still happy with my purchase though. Other Thoughts: It will take a few minutes to understand their menu's and allow you to get to all the settings. I have used an older sony with the touchscreen and it was quicker, but then you have finger prints all over the display. Sony says you should have at lest "Speed Class Rating" of 4, but I went with a 10 to ensure my long movies will have no issues.
