5 out of 5 eggsexcellent

Pros: this is a great item...not a wet double boiler type ricemaker...controls are very very simple...the pan is nicely convex and non-stick, the finished rice easily plops right out....the cooked rice is very toothsome and uniformly steamed throughout, even with a full panload...great item...v. good price

Cons: electric cord is too short....not everybody has an outlet every 2 feet all around the kitchen.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat rice cooker

Pros: Simple, no-frills rice cooker. Easy to clean, large capacity, clear lid so you can monitor progress if you're cooking something else besides rice. Automatic sensor switches to warm mode when its done cooking.

Cons: It doesn't last forever. :(

My cooking pot has long since worn through the non-stick coating and is even starting to rust a little, but even so, rice STILL isn't sticking to the bottom! Even after cooking rice almost every day for years. Its just that awesome.

Other Thoughts: Would definitely buy another. Its simple, it cooks rice, its durable, cleans easy. What more could you want?
