4 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor, not so great speakers

Pros: The monitor is bright and sharp.

Cons: Speakers sound thin and tinny, with absolutely no bass response.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Quality Display

Pros: Great quality no dead pixels, bright.

Cons: No DVI cable, this actually proved crucial and subsequently really annoying since I needed to use an active converter to get three displays out of my video card as apposed to the passive HDMI to DVI converter using an HDMI Cable.

There are three reasons this is kind of obscene, the cables are cheap, the quality of the display implies that you will use something other than VGA and because DVI is most commonly used to connect displays.

4 out of 5 eggsReview update

Pros: size, VESA mount

Cons: This review is to update a previous review where I reported pixilation after 6 months of ownership. It seems that the issue was connection through a port replicator type of device. Weird that it was fine for a while and then just started getting worse over time. Anyway, direct connection to the computer appears to avoid this pixilation issue.

Other Thoughts: This review is to update a previous review where I reported pixilation after 6 months of ownership. It seems that the issue was connection through a port replicator type of device. Weird that it was fine for a while and then just started getting worse over time. Anyway, direct connection to the computer appears to avoid this pixilation issue.

1 out of 5 eggspixelating 6 months in

Pros: VESA mount; size

Cons: Has begun spontaneously pixelating with increasing frequency this week. Purchased Oct 2013. Today is April 1, 2014 ( no fooling!) so that's about 6 months in working order. Used during working hours only, not on weekends. Forgot if I purchased protection plan or not. Too bad

4 out of 5 eggsGood, basic monitor

Pros: No dead pixels
Speakers

Cons: Color
Stand

Other Thoughts: I am used to IPS panels, so the color isn't as good as I am used to... but for a TN it is fine. The stand is not high enough and was a bit awkward to put together. Overall I am happy with the monitor, especially for the price. And it is important to note that the speakers actually are adequate, which is not normally the case with monitor speakers.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor

Pros: With a "Link Depot HDMI-DVI-2 6.56 ft. HDMI to DVI Cable M-M - OEM" this monitor provides a large widescreen view of whatever you are watching with clear, sharp, and vivid colors and images. All my games look excellent on this. Would rate it 41/2 out of 5 if I could, and only cause bigger is better and bigger would be better if you got bigger. Great quality for the cost, would buy it again.

Cons: None.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Screen for the Price!

Pros: Bought it when it was on sale. Easy to set up once you take it out of the box. After a couple of minutes on fiddling with the brightness/contrast the visual looks nice, but not great. (Still good IMO for the price it was at)

Cons: Didn't come with a DVI cord, just VGA.

Other Thoughts: Once when I bought a DVI cord the visuals were SOO much better! Regret buying it once I saw a 1ms 1080p screen for sale on Black Friday. =/ Other than that, I'm happy with the product!

4 out of 5 eggsGenerally happy

Pros: Bought this monitor to replace my older Viewsonic. So far its great. Lightweight, simple to setup, 2 inputs for switching between vga and dvi. Does exactly what I needed it to do.

Cons: Speakers are located in the back and they sound terrible.
Buttons located on bottom, spaced too far apart, and are hard to see.

Other Thoughts: I don't understand why they changed things that were better in previous models (like speakers and buttons). This almost feels like a downgrade instead of an upgrade, but its still a good/affordable replacement.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Quality Monitor

Pros: Excellent color, clarity. No dead or stuck pixels.

Cons: No cons. Really nice monitor. Speakers suck but I know that all integrated speakers suck so who cares.

Other Thoughts: Bought this to go with a newly built PC for my son's friend as a Christmas present.
