5 out of 5 eggsGreat Price, no problems

Pros: I got it on sale, but even the regular price is pretty good.

Big enough to hold an OS.

I have reformatted several times without issue using various formats.

I have dropped it, stepped on it, left it in 90°F+ temperatures and it still works fine.

Cons: The lid is easy to lose if you keep it on a keychain (like I do) because you cannot put the lid on the back, that being said I have yet to lose it.

3 out of 5 eggsVery slow transfers

Pros: I've had no issues with windows not recognizing it.

Cons: This is painfully slow. It takes about 10 mins to transfer 10gigs. (multiple transfers, same result)

Other Thoughts: I guess if you don't move a lot of files, then it's good. But, I bought this to move work (project) files to/from home on a daily basis.

1 out of 5 eggsPNY has 1 year warranty for reasons.

Pros: WAS a good drive when it was working. The drive had issues in that some USB2 devices would not see it. It wasn't a formatting issue as other USB2 with same size and format showed up fine on the same devices. Not sure if the drivers for this didn't work but wasn't even recognized on some devices to try and load drivers.

Cons: Here is where it gets bad. Even after ejecting the drive from the PC by right-clicking and selecting EJECT, half the time you insert it the next time it says it wasnt ejected correctly and needs to be rescanned....over and over, not just once or twice, half the time I would use it. DO NOT buy from PNY from the US or this side of the world. Buy all your PNY stuff from Then instead of 1 year warranty you can get a 5-year one. THIS is very important, as the last 2 drives, turbo 3.0 and attache 2 BOTH have gone belly up just after 1 year. You will still lose all your data, but at least you can get a replacement so you can lose it all again the next year.

Other Thoughts: I used to like PNY, and a few other companies from back in the days. But, ever since that flood they had 10 years back a lot of companies have emerged without a shred of quality left to their names and as a result warranties have been cut in half or more. Lifetime warranty items and drives now say 5 years or less. They don't trust their factories anymore since the flood...why should we? Sadly to me, PNY has joined the group of companies without QA. Only offering 1 year on a warranty pretty much tells me how reliably PNY view their own devices.

Look at other manufactures that have LIFETIME warranty on their devices. If they are willing to stand behind it with a lifetime warranty I'm more willing to trust them.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks, but has issues

Pros: It works great once the computer recognizes it. It's got a large amount of space to store things which is why I bought it.

Cons: Computers sometimes don't recognize it at all, the driver will be not installed correctly, or it works. I usually have to go into the control panel and uninstall the driver manually and then retry, usually this works. I don't know if maybe it needs only a USB3.0 slot or what.

Other Thoughts: If you can handle it not always wanting to be recognized by the computer, you'll like it.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for my XBox One MP3 Media

Pros: Large Capacity, good USB 3.0 & 2.0 speeds, compatible with the XBox One. 30 dollars for 64 GB's at good 3.0 speeds is a steal.

Zero Issues after 2 months of use, storing around 40GB's of MP3 Files for the Xbox One Media player. Loads tracks immediately, which is all I wanted this for.

Cons: None so far

4 out of 5 eggsPYN 64GB

Pros: Nice and small. Very good read/write even on USB2.
Nice and large to hold movies / music for my car with a small size factor.

Cons: Wish the cap was held on with something rather then loose. Could lose it some what easy as it just pops onto the back of the drive when your using it, but still can be knocked off without much effort.

Other Thoughts: Haven't gotten to use it on a USB3 pc yet, but I've been very happy with the speeds I'm getting out of it even on USB 2 so for the USB3 users out there it should be pretty quick.
It seems to like large files rather then tons of small files, but most USB drives are that way.

If it came with some way to hold the cap better would have had no issues giving it 5 Egg's.

2 out of 5 eggsquestionable, expected better from PNY

Pros: Bought 3 of them, 2 are still working.

Cons: One of them bricked after 3 uses.
Really disappointed in PNY on this one.
Never had a PNY flash drive go bad in more than 10 years, so didn't think this time I needed to save packaging "just in case, because you never know."
Well, this time, now I know. One of three bricked is not acceptable. Will consider someone else's for next purchase. Question remains: are these two that actually still work going to last as long as what I've come to expect from PNY over the years, or will they brick out soon too...?

4 out of 5 eggsMy Bad

Pros: Fairly priced, rugged, moderately fast.
Survived one wash & dry cycle in the laundry..

Cons: Price is a little high, but still a decent value.

Other Thoughts: I posted a bad review a couple of weeks ago, regarding slow write and read speeds. Since then, my MOBO blew up and had to be replaced. Now the flash drive performs up to specs. I don't think being run through the washer and drier with my pants had anything to do with the enhanced performance. Funny thing is, an SSDD in a drive bay on the same USB3 controller was screaming fast on the old Asus MOBO. For comparison, this USB drive averages about 50 MBPS, the SSDD about 100 MBPS, a USB2Turbo drive does about 20 MBPS, and an old USB2 drive does about 8 MBPS on the USB3 port of my new computer, running Windows8.
