4 out of 5 eggsdecent widescreen monitor

Pros: benq,WIDE,VESA mounts, VGA, DVI and HDMI with audio jack. not too glossy just perfect, tilts up/down without stand breaking. stand has a screw to lock monitor in place, VESA mounts for giving this beast some angle. get compliments on the size/ price made out like a bandit.

Cons: when i watch movies it has noticable white around the edges, even in movie mode preset.

Other Thoughts: was looking for a 24" but this monitor came in for about the same price, bought before it went out of stock

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great color for the price, but you will get what you pay for. I got this because I was stepping down from a 32" TV for my monitor and wanted a 27" monitor. Nice 1080p monitor with hdmi but keep in mind that this does not have speakers so a digital signal is a digital signal so dvi works just as well.

Cons: Keep in mind that this does not have a display port plug. If you are planning on daisy chaining for a duel or triple monitor setup you will need either a graphics card/cpu with several hdmi/dvi outs. If your graphics card only has 1 of each such as my gtx 680 twin frozer, you will need at least 1 display port to hdmi adapter (inexpensive) for a triple monitor setup

Pros: Great picture/ Purchased this as pre Black Friday sale saved quite a bit of money

Cons: Base could be bit larger to keep the monitor from wobbling anytime it's bumped into

3 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor...except

Pros: Very large, bright and vesa compatible.

Cons: 3 days after I plugged it in a single pixel went dead on the left middle of the screen. It was irritating but not enough to pay for shipping, also ghosting is annoying while playing minecraft-esque games.

2 out of 5 eggsGood but not great and quality control is sub-par

Pros: Colors are good, not great. Resolution is fair, not crisp. Monitor controls are not user friendly nor is there "fine" tuning control over the color, contrast and brightness. You end up with generally good vs. bad - nothing real brilliant, sharp or bright. But this is not a high end monitor and in fact the price ($179) was very low for a 27" monitor.

Cons: First monitor was returned because could not get monitor to work with HDMI connection. The replacement monitor two months in developed a dime sized white spot on light background. The spot is not noticeable at all on a dark background. I have given it some time to see if it disappears or gets worse - it has stayed the same and is not a big deal. It's too late to return replacement monitor to NEWEGG but might see if BENQ customer service is any good.

The stand post is not sturdy and it's questionable whether it is strong enough for the weight of the monitor. You should be concerned it you have a floor or desk that easily transmits vibrations.

I also discovered a couple months in that the monitor has a very fine scratch on it but obviously it is barely noticeable and rarely affects viewing.

Other Thoughts: Bottom line, the quality and quality control is sub-par compared to the other dozen monitors I've owned over the last 15+ years. I don't expect this monitor to last long but time will tell. If I had to to over again, I would not buy this monitor again and therefore cannot recommend. Sadly, I think if you spend twice as much, I doubt you would get twice the quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor

Pros: Great price on this during pre-holiday sales. No other company could touch the price point with a 27".

The picture is extremely bright and clear. I have not have any ghosting as others have mentioned.

Multiple inputs available to allow whatever connection method is preferred. (I am using the DVI input, have not tried the others yet)

Cons: Nothing bad to mention so far.

5 out of 5 eggsBenQ GL2760H

Pros: Works perfectly
Looks great
Good colors
Refresh rate is plenty for me
Very bright

Cons: Slight bleeding of light from all sides when the screen is all black.

Other Thoughts: Other than the light bleeding this thing is great and I really enjoy using it a lot as compared to my old 18ish Samsung.
Games look really great on it and it is very very bright out of the box.
