5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Price,Reliability,Manufacturer Reputation

Cons: Only 480 GB and the speed is addictive.

Other Thoughts: This is the first SSD I have owned. I have it on a fast desktop machine running Centos 7 (Linux). Now, waiting for my Windows laptop to boot seems to approach eternity.

5 out of 5 eggsworks great

Pros: -fast
-large capacity for an SSD

Cons: -Not as expensive as earlier SSDs used to be, but still pretty expensive

Other Thoughts: Changing out a conventional HDD for an SSD is probably the single most noticeable change to your PCs performance that you can make in any machine-- business or otherwise, but reliability can be an issue if the flash cells wear out prematurely. Intel has a good reputation for reliability in its SSDs, but only time will tell if the newer hardware generations are more reliable.
