Pros: This drive is a plug and play device, simply pop it into any pc and it will run smoothly. I can run this on my older model pc's and newer laptops. Can also use this without issues at colleges and libraries.

Cons: The device needs a snap closure. One has to be careful to not damage the usb end on it.

Other Thoughts: Place a small hair tie or something like that to help keep it closed. Do not use tape as that could gum-up and leave residue inside your usb port. Other than that a great product for the price.

Pros: We bought two of these drives for our D600 laptops. They worked great. I had to format one drive as it was not formatted yet. Other than that they both worked great.

Cons: It was tricky trying to get the drives to work initially. Had to play around with the CD and drivers. Finally had to go thru my computer and tell it to install drivers from the cd. TIP... follow the instruction guide exactly as it shows in advanced settings and be careful what u do there.

Other Thoughts: There should be a addition to the installation on the CD. It should prompt you to install the drivers for specific OS types, but failes to do so.
How we installed: Click on..Start Menu, My Computer, View System Information, Hardware/Device Manager, Universal serial bus controllers/USB mass storage device. Right click on the USB mass storage device and click on properties, install drivers from there with the CD in the cdrom/dvdrom.
