1 out of 5 eggsShould've bought a Sony player

Pros: Did what I wanted it to - play Netflix and Blurays

Cons: Worked for about 4 months and crashed. Unit turns on but gets stuck on the LG logo screen. Won't go to the home screen or autoplay any disc.

**ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT** I'm usually pet peeve'n about manufacturer warranty but I missed the fine print on this unit. 1 year warranty on parts but only 90 day warranty on labor. Called tech support a couple times to troubleshoot the unit but they want me to send it in - $69 for the labor!!!
For that price, I can buy a brand new one!!

Other Thoughts: Luckily I bought the 1 year service net plan with it so when the 1 year mark hits, I should be good to get a replacement.

2 out of 5 eggsWouldn't Recommend

Pros: Small size, easy setup.

Cons: Purchased two, only one works.

Other Thoughts: Purchased two of these as family Christmas gifts. One is working fine, the other was DOA. The purchase was made in mid-November, so by the time I determined there was a problem the Newegg return policy had expired. After multiple calls to LG, I was finally told that they didn't have any more of these and offered a refund check. If they won't repair/replace, they must not be too pleased with the model either.

1 out of 5 eggsbroken player and bad service

Pros: None

Cons: I bought this player one month ago, and just used for several times. Then it does work any more. I checked with Newegg, and was told since I ordered it 1 month and 8 days ago, it will not be newegg responsibility, and I need to contact LG. After I tried to call the services several times, which I was promised to receive a returning shipping label after each call, and I was still not able to get it!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as intended

Pros: Wifi, fast loading, plays awesome quality Blu-ray and 3d

Cons: Doesn't have hulu plus app

Other Thoughts: I bought this on Black Friday for around 40-60 bux. I knew it wasn't the top of the line, but it was a newer player, and played 3d movies. The quality on the movies is awesome. The load times are 1 million times better than my first generation blu-ray player. The bad review above about the wifi not working must have been on his player alone. Mine worked out of the box.

No hulu app, but i have 3-4 other devices that will play it, plus a pc hooked up to tv.

Excellent player that does what i need it to do..Play blu-ray's. At the price on sale, you can't lose.

1 out of 5 eggsNever rec'd and still no refund

Pros: Still waiting for a refund after not receiving 2 Blu Ray Players. I've received notice that one is in the works but I don't even have faith that will happen. I had a difficult time with getting them to file a claim only to call back and find out they never filed one. I'm going to get my credit card company and the attorney general involved. I'm not getting anywhere with these guys.

Cons: Purchasing anything from Newegg

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: No complaints whatsoever. I was looking for a reason to buy a 3D Blu-ray player and the price was right - paid $60 for this w/ free shipping. With $60, you get a very basic 3D Blu-Ray player that does the job. I was most impressed with how fast it was for the unit to load a movie. I've got a couple of older Blu-Ray players that take a painfully long time to get a movie going (Samsung BDP 1500 and 1600).

Cons: How can you complain when you know what you're getting? Again, this is a very basic unit...with only 4 apps, I believe. I have a "smart" TV, a Roku Box, an XBox, and a Wii. One way or another, I already had every app I could ever need. I have used both Netflix and Vudu, since purchasing and both work flawlessly thus far.

Other Thoughts: So far, we've watched two 3D movies on this unit - Brave and Nitro Circus. Both movies worked flawlessly. To me, the quality is the same as if we were at a theater...great experience so far!

2 out of 5 eggsVery basic BR Player

Pros: Picture quality and 3D play
Cheap

Cons: Cheaply made. Bad quality control. Very basic unit.
Short warranty 90days really see my comment below.

Other Thoughts: The day I received its wireless did not work. Since I'm a computer tech, I decided to open the unit check if it has poor quality control as to those in the assembly line do a monkey job. Sure enough it was. The Wifi connector was not seat all the way. After pushed back in place, the wireless works. There is really 90days warranty even though it said one year part but labor only 90 days, which mean they will charge you $69 to repair after 90 days period render this unit worthless consider that this unit is only $60 here. This unit comes with Netflix, Youtube, Vudu, and Accuweather. There are no additional app you can install. Very limited, very basic. The unit play well but I am disappointed with no RCA audio out to my older stereo receiver. There is no play button or stop. Everything has go through the remote. The unit also very small. It does not goes well with my stereo rack.
As far as picture quality and 3D, I would say it's not bad at all. It plays well.

1 out of 5 eggsNo Wifi

Pros: Blu-Ray works great. Nice quality graphics.

Cons: No wifi function. My wireless router is ~15 feet away. It's an automated menu, and it doesn't indicate whether it's scanning for a wireless connection. It just produces a not connected message.
