2 out of 5 eggsSignal Strength Poor

Pros: Unit is lightweight. Controls are easy to use. Instruction manual is easy to read and follow. Easy to install. Worked some of the time.

Cons: Unit's signal strength is not strong enough to overcome outside electrical influences. Signal seems to fade in and out. Unit seemed to work best during the day. Unit was tested in urban environment; perhaps it would work better in a rural setting where there is less chance of interference.

Other Thoughts: Will return if seller will allow. Otherwise, unit will be landfill bound.

3 out of 5 eggsGood transmitter

Pros: Works

Cons: Mediocre audio quality

Other Thoughts: Decent FM transmitter. Not quite as adjustable as I would like, but it works OK. No FM transmitter will give great audio quality, this gives me a little static but it's not too bad.

Note that it only works with fourth generation iPod Touch if you take off all the adapters!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat device!

Pros: My wide needed a iPod Nano FM tuner that also charged and held it inplace well. This does all of that and for a great price!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you are looking to not have to replace your head unit to get your iPod playing in your car, this is the only way to go without spending a bundle.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy!

Pros: Great device, far better than any of the other models my friends have.
- Buy it at NewEgg, Walmart etc are $90+
- Nice, strong signal - I don't use the channel scanning function, I just have one station I use all the time since I use it mostly on my - commute (30 mins)
- Gooseneck is stiff enough to stay in place with some spirited driving
Haven't taken it on a long trip yet.
- Comes with more adapters (iPhones, iPods etc) than you know what to do with

iPhone 3G with slider case - just slip off the bottom piece
2001 Buick LeSabre

Cons: No real cons, just that the goose neck could be a little longer but it's the longest one anyone makes. Occasionally get the "this is not an Apple approved accessory" warning but it works fine anyway.

Other Thoughts: Buy it, you'll love it!

5 out of 5 eggsOUTSTANDING!!!

Pros: DC Charges very quickly, FM works very well and it comes with an AUX input which, of course, works even better.

Cons: Could be slightly longer...

Other Thoughts: My vehicle has an AUX input so I use that and the Stand is great for charging. What's really nice is that I can plug in my headphones on the top when I want to use them for phone calls, the music stops of course but I don't have to play around with wires. My wife has one and uses the FM tuner which also works very well.

4 out of 5 eggsBuy it!

Pros: Good quality made. Sound is good for transmiter. Newegg price.

Cons: Come with cradle for different Apple produts, but missing a wider one for people who use iphone with hard cases .

Other Thoughts: I use this trasmiter without cradle, so i dont need to remove my hard case off my iphone.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good sound quality. Easy to use and understand. Cost is low.

Cons: The docking system doesn't hold my iPhone very well, it seems even small bumps can dislodge the phone. Although it's almost random when it pops off, can drive for an hour and not have a problem.

Other Thoughts: Cant ask for much more with the price i paid for it. Works better when you manually set the frequency!

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well, but no call audio

Pros: It does exactly what it needs to do, and sounds good.

Cons: This is more a gripe with apple than the product, but using an iPhone, the call audio is not pushed out of the bottom connector, so it doesn't play through the car speakers. Only through AUX does that work, which is really annoying, as I was certain that this pushed ALL audio to my radio.

Other Thoughts: Again, works well but Apple's lack of foresight in regards to call audio is a bummer.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Relative to other FM transmitters, this one is the best quality I've used to date. I am able to mount my iPhone to it no problem. The base that connects to the cigarette lighter has the added bonus of a decorative LED that randomly comes up red or yellow (i guess depending on its mood that day). With the proper frequency outside of major metro areas, the quality is actually quite superb.

Cons: It is still an FM transmitter and no matter how good one of these is, there will be times when interference happens and one has to hunt and peck for a new frequency to hop onto. The auto search of frequencies doesn't seem to find the best frequencies. However, if I manually set the station it works ok.

Other Thoughts: Purchased for a Volvo S40 with no tape deck and no possibility of adding an aux input without major rework.
