The knobs were a little stiff, but after using it for a little while, they loosened up. Cons: One of the speakers started to make a weird noise. I even tried the speaker in each channel since they are not labeled for a specific Left or Right channel. Also the sub, for 100w, is not as good as it should be. Regardless that I bought this item on Sale (39.99), the quality for a 100 dollar pair of speakers just isn't there. Other Thoughts: Personally, I do not think the sub has the capabilities of putting out 100 watts of sound. Same with the speakers, the quality just... isn't there? With the bass turned down over half way, they sound okay, but then the loudness just isn't there. Isn't the point of having a powered speaker system to have good quality sound that has a high output? Gave it two eggs because of a broken speaker and putting my expectations up too high for this system. The blue light on the nob is cool though... I'm sending in an RMA to see if I can get a new system. I'll see if the quality changes any.. Maybe it was just the one I got. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? I work in a factory running CNC's, so at 200peak watts, I thought they might be just a bit louder than they were. I had to just turn the subwoofer off, soooo much distortion. Other Thoughts: I think my expectations were too high for these. Thugstomp 7/5/2012 6:04:49 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 1/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 3/5Wires are expensive now a days Pros: Price ( got this when it was on sale for 39.99 ) Decent Sound for price Cons: Very Short speaker cables... i cant even think of a computer setup that this will work with.... the speakers plug into the sub, the sub is on the floor and u dont have much cable lenght to do anything but set the speakers on the first place on your desk that is MIGHT reach ( and yes docked 2 eggs becouse it feels like a slap in the face to not have anymore lenght... mine as well keep the speakers on the floor as well right next to the sub ) 1 out of 3 people found this review helpful.
