5 out of 5 eggsGreat deal

Pros: Drill was in perfect condition. couldn't see anything wrong with it. Same for the Charger and bag.
Good Price Saved 20 bucks, oppose to buying it at lowes or home depot for more.

Cons: Really no cons. I got exactly what a paid for a refurbished Drill set.
as for the refurbished part it was the batteries. No biggy they both seemed to work other then some mook wrote his name on the things before he sent them back.
c'est la vie

Other Thoughts: Great shipping. I assumed it was going to be over a week from what the eta said from newegg. i got my kit in 2 days. though it helps i live on the east coast and the seller does as well.

4 out of 5 eggsAs Advertised

Pros: Came with one scuffmark on the grip but is otherwise brand new. The batteries are marked with a big R. As someone else mentioned, there is no belt-hook. I complained and received a 12$ credit back...making this a hell of a deal.

Cons: a bit heavier than the brushless model I had at work, but still my favorite cordless driver/drill by FAR.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Drill

Pros: alot of torque, lightweight and the light for dark areas

Cons: the zipper on the bag was broken so I cant close it.

Other Thoughts: I received it pretty quick it didnt take a week to get it. I thought it was very lightweight used it this weekend enjoyed it. I do like that is has so many adjustment on the torque. It comes with 2 batteries and the charger a real plus on the batteries. On the down side the carrying bag the zipper was broken and cant close the bag some people I seen leave their bags open but since I carry alot of my tools in my truck I like to close all carrying bags on my tools. I gave it 4 eggs because the drill although very nice the bag did come to me with a broken zipper.

5 out of 5 eggsIs it unseemly to love a power tool?

Pros: Everything works, and the price was excellent. Good power, 1/2 bit capacity, batteries last a long time and charge quickly. While not exactly spacious, the included bag is quite useful.

Cons: The LED light doesn't actually shine directly on the worksite (where the bit meets the material) because the barrel blocks the the path. Not a big deal though

There was supposed to be a belt clip included with the kit, but that was missing.

5 out of 5 eggsfollow up on DOA battery

Pros: Contacted the seller, (CPO) they put me in touch with Dewalt, one five minute phone call and they are sending me a new battery to replace the DOA battery. Great customer service from NEWEGG & CPO, just to get to Dewalt and they were great also!!!!

Cons: DOA battery, but as mentioned above, as easy as one email & two phone calls, kind of a pain, but handled exceptionally well by all concerned parties!!!

Other Thoughts: I have bought from CPO on several occasions, this is the first issue with anything from them or Newegg. I will definitely continue to buy from them!!

4 out of 5 eggsGood drill but take note of Torque Specs with any drill

Pros: Very nice drill, handles well, the kit is clean, batteries fit tight, we LOVE the light staying on for about 10 seconds when the trigger is slightly pressed, allowing the user to align the bit or screw into position. Clutch works as previous DeWalt drills which is good.

Cons: Two things I was surprised about and I should have researched it more. The older 18 volt drill had more torque than this drill. Torque and Voltage are two different items to consider. Even though this drill has 2 more volts than my older DeWalt it has about 25% less torque experienced out in the field and the batteries do not last as long as our 6 year old 18 volt drill. Is it a deal breaker? NO, its a great drill but if someone is just getting by with their older drill I suggest you look that drills specs up and compare them with this drill, if the specs match or are higher than what you have been using your in good luck, if its less then spend a little more for the torque and forget about the voltage. This drill should do everything in the home without problems. We use ours in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration service and it performs acceptably.

Other Thoughts: Another thing is the battery will not charge if too cold or too hot. The charger waits until the battery cools down or heats up, so if you don't have a job site warm enough and no means to heat it the unit will wait until you do. Could be a sale breaker for the trades.

5 out of 5 eggsfantastic

Pros: lightweight and durable

Cons: not sure it has any

Other Thoughts: I bought this drill because I love my old Dewalt cordless and knew the advantages of the lithium-ion battery. But I was surprised at how much lighter the new drill is, with no loss of power or durability. Ad said refurbished, but I couldn't tell it from new, including the packaging
