5 out of 5 eggsgreat buy

Pros: far below new price
holds charge for lengthy period
good torque
charges quickly

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: I have had several conventional battery powered hand drills; they have all been handy, but not nearly as good as this lithium drill. I can put in screws for hours on one charge, drill several holes through hedge posts , all kinds of jobs that took several batteries or charges in the past

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Drill

Pros: What you expect from Dewalt - high quality, excellent workmanship, durable, ready to go. The drill, charger and 2 batteries are refurbished but look new. The batteries quickly take a charge and hold it for quite awhile doing drilling/driving. Drill has plenty of torque and compares very favorably to my Makita, and much improved over older 12 volt Dewalt.

Cons: Soft carry bag works but doesn't protect drill/batteries/charger like molded case does. There are no pockets/straps to hold items in bag so they jostle around and have no protection from drops or being hit.

Other Thoughts: High value item at great price. Do not be put off by "refurbished" condition - these are like-new and indistinguishable from new items except by packaging (brown unlabeled box).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy

Pros: I bought a DeWalt Re-manufactured 20V portable drill and it works great it even came with an extra battery. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I was not going to use that much but this works so good I use it on all my projects. The product was just as described and shipping was super fast.

Cons: na

1 out of 5 eggsDont Buy

Pros: None

Cons: Too many scratches
It says factory refurbished, looks like someone used it quite a bit and then returned it and it was sold again

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Powerful 20 volts
- Comes with two batteries so you can charge one while working with the other
- 1/2" chuck for large bits
- Good price. Although it was a refurb, it's $20 less than a new one at Home Depot.
- No noticeable wear, just branded with an "R"
- One battery came pre-charged

Cons: - One battery was dead. Charger wouldn't even recognize it

Other Thoughts: I revived the dead battery by trickle charging it from the good one. Just connect positive to positive and negative to negative using some appropriately gauged wire for 30 seconds. After that, charger recognized it just fine.
