Cons: see other review, I too received "communicating error" after battery was fully charged and connected to camera, GZ-MG330, but I demanded Newegg pay for return shipping and no restocking fee, which they did, was emailed a prepaid UPS shipping label, great customer service is what keeps me buying from Newegg.

Pros: Great charger/battery for the price.

Pros: Inexpensive. Comes with a charger so doesn't required tying up camera.

Cons: Does not work with JVC GR-850U.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this as a 2nd battery for my daughter's JVC GR-850U. Charged it until green "charged" light came on. Installed it. Turned on the camcorder. The standard screens came up for about 5 seconds. Then the screen came up saying "Communication Error" and below that it showed a icon of a camcorder and a battery with the following symbol between them "<-[X]->". If fails to work either in Play mode or Record mode. Very disappointed. Now I'm out shipping both ways. Unfortunately the JVC OEM batteries are vey expensive and do not come with chargers. Very nice camcorder but very expensive accessories.
