Pros: Inexpensive.

Cons: Ordered two, and they both lasted a year. Both puffed up and died at the same time.

Cons: Short lifespan, lower capacity than OEM

Other Thoughts: I purchased one of these along with my new T1i in June 2009 from Newegg. This battery lasted about 11 months before it stopped taking a charge. Before this happened, this battery did not have the same capacity as the Canon OEM battery. While the Canon would last 375-450 RAW, autofocused shots, the Dolica would last less than 250. This is a case of "you get what you pay for". The relatively inexpensive price is the reason this gets 3 eggs rather than 2. Overall I would not buy this again, instead opting for another vendor's LP-E5.

Cons: Bought the battery for my T1i six months ago and it never really worked well or held a charge for long. Now it stopped taking a charge.
I am in touch with Dolica now, hopefully they'll send me a replacement.

Pros: the battery is the same as the canon original one lasts the same i shot all day and still had a lot buy it

Pros: Seems to hold its charge as well as the OEM model. Had it for almost 2 months now with no problems.

Pros: This battery works as well as the Canon brand for less that half the price! Able to shoot hundreds of pictures on my Canon XSi using on-board flash on a single charge.

Other Thoughts: So far there is no noticeable difference in battery life as compared to the Canon battery.

Pros: It is low cost. Works in my T1i.

Cons: Charging can be a hassle. IT seems to take longer to charge than the canon. It also seems to have a little less battery life. though its hard to tell because the metering doesn't work so well. In 5-10 minutes it went from full battery to low flashing red meter. But I was able to continue to film video with it on red for over an hour.

Other Thoughts: works well aside from metering issue. I would say canon battery seems a little better but for the price difference, I can't complain.
