3 out of 5 eggsNot really a gaming setup

Pros: Once everything is installed, seems to work fine. Keyboard requires you hit one button before it connects (Or so it seems). Recognized in my graphic bios so that is a relief.

Cons: Took an hour to find drivers for this thing. Had to continually plug and unplug a different keyboard and mouse to get everything running, windows did not recognize it so had to go on a driver treasure hunt online.
This thing says its for gaming, but it is not very good for that imo. Keys feel cheap and mouse is too small. I have small hands and I find it to be uncomfortable to use the mouse.
For productivity, keyboard is smaller than average keyboard, and the keys are strangely stiff. The shift and enter keys are not where you usually find them and are further to the right of the keyboard than I'm used to, so I had to adjust to that as well.

Other Thoughts: Bought this on sale, cant say I'd really recommend it to anyone. Hasn't failed on me so I can't rate it poorly. Definitely not for gaming, and uncomfortable for productivity use. I mostly use this to get where I need to on the internet, otherwise I use g13 with g9 or use an xbox controller for my games.

3 out of 5 eggsA bit finicky

Pros: Has decent range, mouse laser seems to work well.

Cons: Had trouble making the keyboard work. Long story short I eventually had to go into device manager and found a device called "unknown usb input device". I told it to install drivers automatically and it worked, which was a relief. This was after going to manufacturers website, etc.

Mouse is tiny and I have smaller hands. Definately not what I would prefer for gaming.

Keyboard key layout is strange and uncomfortable, ie, the backslash key is to the left of the enter key rather than above, which means you must stretch your pinky out further than is natural feeling.

Other Thoughts: Got it on sale, does the job, wish would have gotten something else but it is at least stylish and compactish.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible

Pros: Non

Cons: This keyboard is horrible. I've had it for about a month a week and the scroll wheel is already broken from regular use and if i move it 5 feet from the receiver it will not respond. The manual was no help. If you play bf3 css or any other shooter this is not a mouse for you. Shipping also took for ever it went all the way around the USA before it got to NY all the way up the west coast to Chicago and to pa then to nj back to pa then back nj then I finally got it.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh!

Pros: Shipped extremelly fast as usual.. New Egg, you rock!

Everything works as expected for the most part.

Cons: The mouse doesn't seem to be as responsive as others I've owned and used... definately doesn't seem to like woodgrain.

Keyboard isn't recognized during post.. tried to use it to get into bios but windows doesn't recognize it until after post.

3 out of 5 eggsok

Pros: >Its a good keyboard.
>The layout is good. It is a good modern design and easy to adjust to.
>sleek and easy to use.
>the keypad mouse idea is cool
>super quiet.
>Mouse works on glossy wood.

Cons: >the buttons have a strong resistance but it is so hard to please everyone.
>It screams cheap plastic but what is not these days.
>has no spill resistance.
>totally software dependent
>there is no low battery indicator on mouse or keyboard.
>mouse is a three button mouse, no dpi control on mouse. and not gaming control
>should not be listed for gaming.
>DPI feels over rated. 800 feels like 500. 1200 feels like 800 and you have to exit your game, open the control Icon and select the speed through three menus. How is that for Gaming?

Other Thoughts: everything is software based. No dpi control on mouse. Everything sort of seems like an advertising gimmick. not good for gaming, htpc or office. Just OK. I am disappointed at best. It is worth about 40 bucks and at 40 bucks you could do better. comes with software that lets you adjust the poling speed and tests at 350 on the 500Hz setting with independent software and only peaks at 480hz. Tests at 500Hz all the time with a4tech software. I don't know why it says for gaming? The software is super clunky to use. there are no gaming buttons. I feel like I wasted my money. the overall shopping and user experience I can only rate at disappointed, however I cannot with a good conscience call it junk.
