Tracks great on metal bench top, cardboard, and wood table top. I have used it on above surfaces and it works great. My other mice have big issues on these surfaces. It does not require installation of any drivers and so works great with windows default drivers. Cons: It is not free Other Thoughts: This is not an expensive mouse and so do not think it has all kinds of features.
