5 out of 5 eggsA nice experience.

Pros: Have retired the really bad Madcatz7 mice (I owned two and they both drifted to death.)

This is the mouse you want. I strongly recommend using the software that comes with it. You will have to manually set the DPI in two axes.

Cons: A tiny bulge under the pinky but not worth taking an egg off. I could take a hacksaw to it...

Other Thoughts: This mouse is a cheaper and NICER mouse than the Madcatz. I already plan to order more of these mice because some day they go out of production.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: It's very comfortable for my hand. Not too light, not too heavy. It doesn't feel cheap at all. I think that this mouse is great value.

Cons: No complaints from me.

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this mouse, good quality at a low price.

3 out of 5 eggsSo so gaming mouse

Pros: Good feel, nice texture, comfortable. Programmable buttons, DPI changes on the fly. Looks good, nice high quality braided cord. Works well with BF3 and Borderlands.

Cons: Not good for MMO gaming. Programmable buttons are not intuitive. The Oscar software is excessive and obtuse. Would not recommend unless all you play are FPS.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace my Logitech G9X that died due to click fatigue on the buttons, becaue the G9X only lasted 6 months. No matter what I do, I cannot get buttons 4 and 5 on the side of the F5 to do anything at all in SWTOR. Even uninstalling the Oscar software and going with base drivers doesn't solve the problem. I probably wouldn't buy this mouse again for this reason, except it is very durable for the money. I even had to program the back and forward buttons for surfing the net. For a little more money you can get a much better mouse that doesn't have this problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Value

Pros: Works well, nice shape, long braided cord, good documentation. Fits ave hands well.

Cons: Rather light on the weight side, and has a "slick" feel to it that i'm having a hard time getting used to. To get to some features the instructions state to click on the "1" icon on the system tray - actually you must RIGHT click it.....remember this if you buy it...you won't find that anywhere in docs.

5 out of 5 eggsGood buy

Pros: Never really had a nice mouse before, always just bought a cheapo one...At first I didn't like it at all, It was like a baseball glove I had to get use to it, had to form too my hand since I was so use to the other one. After that I started really liking it. it has a nice feel to it, it has this grip feel to it isn't of a smooth surface so it really feel you have good control of it. There's afew extra clickers two on the side and on double tapper it's kinda neat never had one with it can be handy in shooter game. Overall great buy

Cons: Not really a big issue but the scroll-er on the mouse is very sensitive like I would click down on it very easily without even trying really but it seemed to stop don't know why really maybe I got use to it oh will.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible mouse

Pros: THE TRACKING. This mouse has the best tracking of any device I've used. I was using it on a rug, on a futon with a crumpled up cover, and on a t-shirt stretched over a book. Regardless of the surface, this mouse tracks like you're on a gaming pad. I also really like the feel of it, it's like fine grit sandpaper. The customizable macros make it very easy to do incredible things with one click. The LED indicating what DPI setting you're using isn't stupid bright like some other mice.

Cons: I wish it had a tilt (left and right) scroll wheel. Other than that, this is my new favorite mouse.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace a Logitech G500 that failed within a week. I have yet to return it, but I decided I was fed up with the quality of Logitech products in general.

4 out of 5 eggsGood mouse with reservations; it did survive an entire glass of water, however!

Pros: *Easy and useful macro adjuster
*braided cord
*3000 dpi
*perfect for those who like to "Palm"
*textured mouse for better grip
*Five button great for FPS

*After having it for 3 days, I accidentally dumped an entire glass of water on it. It shorted and refused to function; I was angry at myself, but, after it dried out the next day, it worked like new again with no problems! I'm using it right now.

Cons: *not so good for those who like to ''Claw" (I had to convert over the month i have been using this). Uncomfortable for this method.
*smaller hands may not take to it as quickly
*rather light, with no weight adjustment capacity

Other Thoughts: I got this as a Black Friday steal; I would not have payed full price for it however, and would recommend throwing a few extra bucks at a more comfortable Logitech gaming mouse. t\That being said, i am happy with my purchase and won't be upgrading it.

Also, NOT A CON or fault of this mouse in any way, but an observation: the 5 button is great for general gaming, but mmo players may want to stick to a 7 button. 5 is just too few for mmo macros.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Quality

Pros: Good design, extra buttons that are easy to use, very accurate pointer. Plus, got it on sale for $29.99. Great price for a good quality mouse.

Cons: It's a little bulky and heavy, according to my wife. People with small hands - This may not be the mouse for you. My wife didn't like the rough texture on it at first but it helps her keep a grip on it. She got use to it quick and liked it at that point.

Other Thoughts: I got this for my wife to replace her mouse that was failing and she likes it. Took her a couple of days to get a good feel for it (see Cons) but she's been enjoying it since.

Me personally, I like the feel of it and the design. It's not quite my Razer Naga, but it's a good mouse that I would recommend for the casual or the hard-core gamer.

4 out of 5 eggsNice mouse

Pros: Probably the best glide of any mouse I've owned without adding new feet or teflon tape, a good comfortable shape that ranks with the better ones from the brands we're all familiar with.

Cons: On the light side and there are no weights to help out if that doesn't work for you. Two thumb buttons can be kind of awkward.

Other Thoughts: While you may have seen a previous generation X7 as the 2500 dpi OCZ Equalizer around 2007-2008, A4 Tech was the OEM and badged it for OCZ. I still have a couple of those around and they are durable. Glad to see them selling their stuff on Newegg as they make a pretty good mouse.
