4 out of 5 eggsGood Unit So Far - Received 11/16/2012

Pros: If you know what you're doing, installation is pretty standard. Fast shipping from Googol Shop, thanks. Packaging was solid, box delivered was mysterious and unmarked, contents were secure. (http://www.newegg.com/Googol-Shop) Even the company name doesn't say "crazy expensive electronics inside". Sorry, NewEgg, I get a little nervous ordering sometimes but you mark your delivery boxes with your logo. Waited at home for the package just in case.

Installation
-Clearly marked wiring with standard length pigtails
-Easy to defeat the parking brake requirement if you're looking to do that, just ground it out, no relay or switch necessary. Not suggested obviously but to each his own.
-Plenty of length for parking brake wire/backup signal wire if you want to use them.
-Enough hardware to cover several installation hurdles. Two extra black bezels of different size, lots of screws to swap over factory brackets for mounting, etc

Sound
-Amazing sound. I just pulled out a Sony XNV-770BT and this Kenwood DNX9990HD makes the stock speaker system in our Nissan Xterra sound amazing. Not purchased primarily for sound but it's nice that it sounds great without any adjustment so far.
-Lots of features for sound control such as single or dual zone sound, 13-band graphic equalizer with selectable tone curves, 3 Sets of 5V preamp outputs, Built-in Low-Pass and High-Pass digital crossover filters, etc. Too many to list and I'm out of the huge subs my trunk game so I'm not the best person to ask about it now anyways. :p

Hardware
-Great remote control. My previous unit (Sony XNV-770BT) had a very simple remote but this Kenwood remote has all the functions necessary to truly control the unit via remote. Even panning around the GPS map via the directional buttons is easy (it puts a little mouse pointer on the map that you can move around with the remote)
-The screen feels secure and solid. I wondered about this because of the reverse tilt feature but it's good, no worries there. The pop out tracks responsible for adjusting the tilt appear to be thick and wide and lubricated so it should last. Nice, deep cog grooves where the gear would meet the track so it shouldn't strip out.
-If you don't need or want to use the A/V cables, you can disconnect and remove the extra so you're not cramming it behind the dash.
-Option to add in Sirius Radio down the line but supports HD radio out of the box.
-Bluetooth setup to both my android phone and her iPhone was a breeze and the sound is clear, calls are clear, phone book and call log work correctly
-Screen colors and button colors come through clear and have lots of options.

Cons: -No apparent screen brightness adjustment? There is day and night mode but it's pretty bright, distracting even, at night. Still exploring the features, I'll keep looking. Using the dim wire does cause it to dim correctly but not enough.
-Ok documentation but could use some attention. If you're coming from a lower quality unit or have never had a navi all in one head unit, explaining all the options in the documentation is nice. I had no idea this had an SD card slot or what I could use it for. It's not in the documentation anywhere (other than how to load a card) and it doesn't explain what the slot supports. Music only? Firmware updates only? Music and video? Video only? I'm going to have to load an SD card with lots of stuff and dork off with it.
-Firmware update process on the website is hard and confusing. Choose group A for these model numbers, group B for these model numbers, etc. What? Then, can you only update via USB or CD as indicated on the website or can I use the SD card slot, a DVD or other mass storage device via USB?
-Dual USB is not marked (or I missed it). One is for iPod/iPhone, the other is not. Don't plug your iDevice in to the other USB, it cripples the unit like it's calculating the end of time. UI slows to a crawl or is unresponsive and it cycles through reading and no device or whatever it says on the screen. Unplug the iDevice and move it over to the other USB and it's fine, unit recovers quickly and is back to normal.
-The first disc insert sounded like death. It whined and sounded like it was shredding my DVD when I put it in. It was probably 45F so maybe it was a little cold? I don't know but it struck me as weird.

Other Thoughts: I'll update my review as time goes on; we just got this one yesterday.
