Pros: Great product wonderfully price I bought 6 of this flash drive one for a friend others I use for my work store all my utilities and programs including office when doing repairs this is handy device making tow the same as I loose my toys ,went of service call forgot my drive tow days without is when I retired the drive build a back up copy I use to carry a 250. Gig hard drive bulky then curser 16 gig ,32gig now the 64 gig in plenty of storage my 32 gig was short of having enough space nothing like having quality device for work.Scan disk never let me down

Cons: None is a little slow moving programs or large amount of data at once for work it holds 36 gig perfectly and where I only read from drive no worry of ever braking like SSD limit on writes and no one going to out live the write times
Be sure to eject not simply pull out !bad for any drive only it will rebuild nice.so not much of a con

Other Thoughts: I wish the drives came with a keychain ring
Delete off the scan disk storage program and you be good to go also works fine in small netbooks internal storage by taking outer case off and solder inside netbook .cheal storage is always welcome and never an issue with scandisk I also own scandisk SSD another great product (No I do not wrk for scan disk ) will not work with my car radio PNY WORKS FINE where Scan disk refuses ?

I have one 64 gig formatted for OSX 10.8.2 programs
I make it a policy to always have two just incase so yes I have quite a few thumb drivers the retractable part is grand no lost covers HP is all plastic now I have few 32 gig only from old school not sure about plastic to insurt in USB port as many times I do every day .im very hard on my tools and Scan dish holds up for me.

Pros: Small outside, big inside.

Cons: Very slow. Slide-out button is easily pressed by thumb accidentally, making it hard to insert.

Other Thoughts: It's nice to have a big drive, but the truth is I avoid using it unless I absolutely need the large capacity. It is painfully slow. If you want to copy, say, 10GB of files, set up the copy and go to lunch. Then get a haircut. Go for a walk, stopping frequently to enjoy the scenery. When you get back, the copy will be complete, maybe.

Pros: large file size, and the slide in function.

Cons: When I transfer files of any size the stick hangs at the end of the file. I will click the more info button and it says read speed of 0 with 8.2 or so mb on larger files and obviously smaller on my music files. So it takes what should be a quick file transfer ends up 10 times slower than my old and slow 16gb stick of another brand.

Other Thoughts: the more I delete and rewrite data to this the longer the "final" writing of data seems to take.

Wish I had returned it when I realized this.

Pros: Slide out function.

Cons: Loads up to about 50Mb then ignores everything else then hangs up and gives up error message "drive no longer available"
Formatted to NTFS and got the same issue.

Other Thoughts: I will look at the competitors equipment and give that a try.

Pros: If you have trouble getting 64gb of info on this disk, you can download "exFAT file system format" from Microsoft.com to reformat this drive, which is cool.

Other Thoughts: Could not utilize the full 64gb, so Scandisk gave this option.

Pros: Bought 3 of these scandisks. 2 loaded without problems, just took a while. The 3rd, wouldn't load over 14.8 gb until I deleted the encryption, now its loading ok. Otherwise great value for the money. A major reseller had a 32 gb for almost the same $ as these 64gb, which tickles my funny bone good. Go Newegg.

Cons: Slow to load, and if not using encryption, scandisk doesn't make total gb's available for usage. When loading large files, may take a couple tries. Overall, pleased with results...

Other Thoughts: I weighed buying these over a usb 2.5 external hard drive, but these are more resilient and less likely to be damaged. I have always trusted Scandisk products, though these were a little more complicated than others, but makes me look a bit more sophisticated hanging around my neck. . .

Other Thoughts: its a good product i like sandisks over all application and value to thier customer base

Cons: Plugged it in, Turned on encryption, transfered data to it then nothing, dead in the water.
My system sees it but when I open the drive it says device not found.

Other Thoughts: My last Sancruze worked great until I lost it so who knows.
Maybe I got a bad one out of a thousand?
I'll RMA this one and try again...
