5 out of 5 eggsFast CArd - FAster Reader!

Pros: Card is a Class 10 - obviously fast. Cost was great. It is the reader that is really surprising. Really fast! I'm running Win7 Pro and most readers poke along. This one is to the preferences, quickly. Pic's come up fast, too (of course). Also, having the card inside the reader in use is a better optioin for a reader - a lot more physical safety.

Cons: Reader is a bit larger than usual, and the detent on the "action" (extruding the plug while enveloping the card) is the perceived point of failure.

Other Thoughts: I'd buy this again.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and cheap

Pros: Nice fast card. I'm seeing 18MB/s reads and around 16MB/s writes on Win7 and XP Pro 32bit.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Using with a card reader, faster than any of my USB flash drives to date.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Testing this on my laptop, I'm getting a write speed of 15.0MB/s and a read speed of 24.4MB/s for a 977MB file. That's pretty good.

The bundled card reader seems a bit more durable than the transparent plastic sort (R3?)

Cons: The card reader is quite bulky, and needs to be connected via a USB hub or cable when hooked up to a vertical laptop USB port.

Other Thoughts: I bought this primarily for the card reader, after my R3 type reader slowed to a crawl - probably as a result of being bent.
