survived accidental washing and drying and still worked

Other Thoughts: while I don't recommend doing it, I was
pleasantly surprised when this little jewel survived in my
jean pocket during washing machine & dryer cycle
important, esp when my intended use is to attach to key chain to always have handy.

good quality, fast, USB3 compatible, very small and light.

Cons: its good that its mall and compact but you can lose it easily. Make sure you attached it to a key change or something.

Pros: This drive is small, convenient, and has quite a bit of memory (I had upgraded from a 4gb). I feel like the end is more protected because it is a switch model and the plug is tucked away. It's easy to stick it in your pocket and not be worried about bending and/or breaking anything.

People mentioned to me that the larger the flash drive, the slower the transfer. I don't quite believe it because I noticed no difference when transferring files to and from this drive than my previous one. It was usually the amount of data that I was transferring that dictated the length of time.

Cons: The body is all plastic. It had me worried at first, like it could snap at any moment, but I felt more comfortable the more I handled it.

If you were transferring a file, it wouldn't play nice if you continued to look through other folders of the drive. It would pretend that it wasn't "responding" and looks like it would freeze. However, if you just let it do it's transfer, it'd be fine. Even when it pretended to freeze (and I say pretend because...) it would still continue to transfer anyway and no harm done.

Other Thoughts: I really liked this flash drive. Unfortunately, it had a lifespan of 2 months before it up and died. I don't mean this in a common way either, like if I bought another one of these, it would last me just fine (I think).

It just so happened that something short-circuited in the hardware of the flash drive one night. It wasn't a computer issue, because I tried it on 5 different computers/laptops afterward and none of them could detect it or it "malfunctioned". The flash drive gave off tremendous heat when it was plugged in, which alludes that it isn't a software issue, but hardware. Also, my data isn't retrievable in this state - but I backed it up, so not much harm done.
