Created by Sunbeam Bedding, the Royal Nights heated blanket is designed for a reliably warm and consistently comfortable night’s sleep. Combining cozy materials with a Thermofine warming system, the blanket monitors temperature and auto-adjusts to keep the level of warmth consistent throughout the night. Sunbeam blankets are a smart way to cut energy costs as well. They allow you to save up to 10% a year on your heating bills by turning on your heated blanket and setting your thermostat back by 10%-15% for 8 hours while sleeping. Made of 100 percent polyester and bordered with a quilted hem, the blanket presents a soft surface that is smooth and soothing to the touch. The blanket includes 10 heating levels, while an easy-to-operate control dial makes it simple to find exactly the right setting. The blanket comes in twin, full, queen, and king sizes, with dual controls and split elements for the two largest versions. For easy care, the blanket is fully machine washable.

Avidday04 2/7/2012 3:41:15 AM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 3/5Will keep you warm, but only for 10 hours :( Pros: Will fry you to a crisp, I love it! It does everything a heated blanket is expected to do - Keep you toasty :) Cons: I do have a major gripe with this blanket though. The supplied heat control unit has a 10-hour automatic shut-off 'feature' that you cannot disable on this model. Yes that's right, if you plan on sleeping in you may just wake up cold and if you plan on having your bed nice warm bed when you get home from a long day at work it's not going to happen. There is a work-around though, since this is replacing my 6 year old blanket that no longer works I was able to plug in my old heat control unit for unlimited heat. I'm sure they don't recommend doing that but the blanket and plug are identical and I've had no problems doing it this way. I hate products that FORCE me to 'save energy' and in doing so severely limit functionality, therefore -2 eggs but still a great product otherwise. Other Thoughts: I got the navy blue one and it shows cat hair REALLY easily, as compared to my old cream colored blanket. Did you find this review helpful? Settings is very easy to read . Since I got this. I have not use the house heater. Size also was perfect for my queen size bed. Great buy.
