The Aleratec AHCI SATA III 6Gbps 2-Port ExpressCard/34 host adapter adds 2 eSATA ports to your laptop computer. It is great for users who want to add high-speed storage to their laptops with either ExpressCard/34 or ExpressCard/54 slots. The slim portable design fits easily into a laptop bag or backpack. An easy way to add an external high-speed HDD, SSD or a Blu-ray/DVD/CD drive to your laptop or notebook computer without having to open it. It works in any available ExpressCard slot and supports data transfer rates up to 6.0 Gbps. This 2-port SATA III ExpressCard/34 adapter supports Harware RAID0, Hardware RAID1 and non-RAID for hard disk drives (HDD) and solid state drives (SSD) and non-RAID for CD, DVD, and Blu-ray drives.
