Mario and friends once again take to the pitch in this second entry in the soccer series. Players form an original team by combining one of 12 captains with three of eight sidekicks before competing in one of the game's many modes. Anything goes in Mario Strikers Charged, as players are allowed to use a variety of special abilities to clinch important goals. Each captain has his or her own set of skills and super abilities, as well as the ability to perform special shots called Mega Strikes, where the iron ball splits into five balls and flies at the goal. The defending player must use the Wii Remote to target and aim at and shoot these balls out of the air before conceding a goal. Each of the stadiums in Mario Strikers Charged has various characteristics and contraptions, which influence game play. Players must learn to use this to their advantage to truly dominate the pitch.

4 out of 5 eggsVery fun

Pros: Fast action and great visuals and sound effects. It's fun knocking someone into a wall when they're getting ready to do a super strike.

Cons: Would've been good if the view was a little closer at times (the characters look a bit too small from time to time).

Other Thoughts: Recommended for multi-player.

Pros: Hand down this is the best Wi-Fi game so far and the first competitive Wi-Fi game. THe controls are great but it takes sometime to get use to it. There are A LOT of things added to this game than the previous game did and the graphics are so much better.

Cons: Sometimes on Wi-Fi it lags. But 90% of the matches is lag free. This game takes a lot more tactics in order to get the ball in the goal than the previous game did.

Other Thoughts: This gmae is pretty complicated when you first play it, but in a week or so you'll be scoring lots of goals, if you have a good team and a good tactic. I highly suggest this game to anyone who owns a Wii. There's no reason not to get this game, even if there's the other game you want to get.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Game for Wii so far

Pros: Hands down, its the best game for the Wii right now. It is fast paced, and has numerous characters, and arenas. You get to unlock characters and arenas, so some rewards for that. I like to think of it as Mario Kart meets soccer. If you like Mario Kart games, and the wacky Nintendoness to games, then you'll like this game.

Cons: Not sure if this should be a con, but the online play is mediocre at best. Game play is fine if both people have a good connection, if the other person has a bad connection, then it lags so bad you can't play. I have a 10 megabit connection, and it runs fine. If you see the connection stars are iffy, or less than 4, reject that person, it's not worth your time trying to get through the game. Also, 4 stars doesn't always mean a great connection.

Other Thoughts: Been playing this game since early June, and it's amazing.

5 out of 5 eggsReally fun

Pros: Extremely fun with your buddies. A lot of action and really fast game play. I did not know who I was or who had the ball half of the time, but it didn't matter cuz I was having a blast.

Cons: A little too hard to score goals at the moment, but hey, I've only had it for a day.

Other Thoughts: Great game, Nintendo delivers again.
