5 out of 5 eggsWorking Well So Far

Pros: The drive was recognized right away by my m/b, and I was able to install Win7 without a hitch. I use this drive almost exclusively for the OS. There are a few programs running on it.

Cons: It's only SATA 2. In this day and age, the bottleneck is neither CPU speed nor RAM; it's the connection between m/b + hdd and write speed of the hdd. SSD is noticeably faster than a hdd, but why on earth anyone would cheap out on SATA 2 after shelling out for a high capacity SSD is kind of beyond me...except I did it too. lol

Other Thoughts: The drive works. It's fast. 240g is comfortable for ANY Windows distro (I tried to put Home Server on a 120g SSD a while back before I realized it wasn't large enough capacity). I would spend the extra $30-$50 on a SATA 3 drive, if I could do it all over again.

Also, I cannot comment on durability. It's only 4 months old, 3+ of heavy use.

5 out of 5 eggsJust In

Pros: Super sleek design. LG product (huge fan boy of their stuff). Price is phenomenal.

Cons: Stand a little wobbly. Is it weak wobbly? No. But it is somewhat unstable. Not enough to remove an egg though. Wish it had an HDMI port on it however.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the Job

Pros: Multi-format reader in the face of my desktop, so there's no need for obtrusive or unattractive cables sticking out the front. Connection (internal usb) was a breeze. USB 3.0. :-)

Cons: Not every case/motherboard has the requisite internal connectors available, but that's a symptom of a cheap m/b, not the reader.

Other Thoughts: I've had this thing up and running for 3+ months. I think I used it once just to make sure it works. It's a wonderful security blanket though. I have a slew of SD, SDHC, MicroSD, Duo, etc. electronic devices. So knowing I have the capability of a removable media interface for all of them let's me sleep better at night. For that, the $30 is worth it.

3 out of 5 eggsNoisy start up

Pros: Great for gaming.

Cons: Messy wiring, and the CPU fan is rattling on start up and I've only had it for about a week.

5 out of 5 eggsGood monitor for the price

Pros: Good price, no dead pixels, great for everyday use.

Cons: Narrow vertical viewing angle. I knew this going in from the reviews so not worth an egg.

Other Thoughts: I got this as a gift for my daughter-in-law and she loves it, no complaints at all. I had a chance to use it extensively over the weekend, and can tell you the shift is only apparent with dark colors, especially black.

If you need a monitor with high color accuracy this one isn't for you, but it you're just doing the day-to-day stuff most of us do (including gaming) it's a good choice for the price.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The only reason I got this monitor was for the 120 hz feature, and it does that. I'm not sure about the other specs but can and will do 120 fps.

Cons: I wanted another monitor that was $50 cheaper that was 120 hz but it was out of stock so got this one.

Other Thoughts: I'm no critic and i know nothing about the specs of this monitor but i was just letting everyone else know that this monitor can and will go 120 fps. I made the review for the same reason the guy under me did, the first two people just blindly gave it 1 star.

5 out of 5 eggsExtremely Easy Installation - Worked First Time!

Pros: Very easy installation. Vast performance improvement.

Cons: Included instructions overly complex for most installations.

Other Thoughts: I installed on a Windows XP desktop system which had a pair of old mechanical WD drives installed. I simply connected the new drive to the system via a USB - SATA adapter, and ran the free version of Acronis True Image, available from WD. It rebooted the system into a recovery partition and made a clone of the old drive, also a 500 GB. Once completed, I just swapped out the drives, was up and running in a flash. The system boots and performs dramatically better. The SSHD performance is about four times that of the mechanical drive, and silent.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: This thing is a beast. The back plate on it is such a nice addition that most people will not think twice about but imo it really makes a huge difference.

This card will overclock like a champ. I was able to take ASUS GPU Tweak to the max on Furmark benchmarks and never get above 80c. I was shocked it OC'd that high but I'm going to leave it there for now.

Best value of all the 770's by far.

Cons: I'm really trying hard to think of one but am failing...
