What can you say about a bladder?
This review is from: CAMELBAK 90392 Long Neck Reservoir,100 oz./3L
Pros: Sturdy and reliable
Cons: Slightly odd taste, somewhat hard to fill
Other Thoughts: The water has a somewhat medicinal/plastic taste to it. Personally I don't find it to be a problem, but if you are a water purist this is probably not the bladder for you. Also, one of the touted features is that it collapses as you empty the bladder which is good while it's in the pack, but not so good when trying to dry it out between uses. There is always water in there and you have to somehow prop it open if you want it to dry. Also, when you first start filling the bladder there is a hesitation before it opens completely. I would prefer a larger opening especially when trying to fill the bladder from a water pump or when pouring water in from a pot while camping. However, the smaller opening does seal securely which I couldn't always say about my previous bladder that had a large opening with some sort of gasket which sometimes didn't quite seal properly. All in all it's a good, durable bladder that should last a long time. Again, the only real downer is the slight taste it adds to the water.
