Pros: Lamp worked as expected

Cons: It did not turn the old projector into a new one.

Other Thoughts: Still working 2.5 years later with light use however the projector is going out.

Pros: I just ordered my first replacement, for x1a. Has not arrived yet, but the original lasted around 3000 hours and i only really expected around 2000 hours.

Cons: When i removed the old bulb the silver lining had chips in it and looked kind of rough id' think this would degrade performance. the screen collects dust very easily, and im not sure if removing the bulb mid life to clean it is such a good idea... Guess i'll find out this time around.

Other Thoughts: it took newegg a day longer than normal to get this out the door and rush order was not available... took 2 whole days just to go from step 3 to step 5... and still no tracking number. we'll see... i'll repost another review pending the condition and functionality of th bulb.

Pros: The lamp is pretty easy to replace. Just pop the lamp door off, unscrew a couple of screws and insert the new lamp.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I placed an over night order around 4:30 PM EST and received it the next morning at 9:30 AM. Newegg really came through with their quick shipping. When I placed this order I didn't expect a turn around as quick as this! My presentation isn't until tomorrow but I leave first thing in the morning. I was prepared to have to run out and buy a new projector today but thanks to Newegg, now I don't.
