This review is from: SwissGear Jupiter 16" Computer Notebook Laptop Backpack
Pros: The durability is awesome (I've used one of these before, they're practically indestructible). Stylistically it looks pretty cool with the dual color layout and the material. There is a really decent amount of space despite how small this bag looks in comparison to the other SwissGear bags. I fit my MSi GT60 laptop in this bag (15.6 inch screen, probably 1.75-2 inches thick) pretty snugly. You can immediately tell that there is a really good amount of protection. It's really solid. And it feels like you're basically not carrying anything on your back, and my laptop is 8 pounds. Other than that it has an additional pocket which could be used for full sized textbooks, or magazines, or a tablet. Hell, I don't know, whatever you want to put in there, and the bag will accommodate it because of it's flexible build. It's just really solid. And the front and side panels are pretty nice too, but I don't think you'll be putting anything major in them.
Cons: The only thing that I can think of right off of the bat is that there isn't any sort of tension reducing strap which is normally found on the should strap of the SwissGear bags. This is there to reduce tension and stress on the bag due to its contents. Oh, and one other thing, and this is if I'm going to be really picky. The side compartments seem pretty difficult to access. It's not really a big deal, it's just not ideal.
Other Thoughts: Overall, for the money you pay, this is a really good buy if you're looking for a bag to throw your laptop in and maybe the charging stuff and a few books. It's really an ideal bag for a college student like myself who doesn't need to carry a lockers worth of books around and wants to keep it simple. The build quality is there to ensure that the bag will be able to serve you for a long amount of time and to reduce the feel of the weight on your back. I couldn't recommend another bag more for the 35 bucks I paid for it.
