2 out of 5 eggsSeems unreliable...

Pros: Kinda works... streams ok anyways, and picture isn't too awful.
I guess you get what you pay for.

Cons: software and web UI are extremely buggy... kinda want to say their just broken.
The IE page doesn't work at all, and download link (for the IE plugin) isn't even click-able - but does ok-ish in firefox.
Only seems to work for half of the time it's armed for motion detection. Have to set a separate "event" schedule for before and after midnight - never seems to work after midnight even though its set to motion detect/record and has several log entries listed in the web UI, but it didn't record or snap anything...
The field to select storage location in the Web UI does nothing when clicked along with several other buttons that control basic functions between the Web UI and the IPC Monitor software... if it doesn't work in one, it tends to work in the other though...
settings changed in the IPCMonitor software don't show on the Web UI...

Other Thoughts: Hopefully they update their software soon, seems ancient and these issues may be partly due to using windows 8.1

5 out of 5 eggsGood outdoor camera

Pros: Excellent picture for the price. Night vision is amazingly clear. I can see down the entire length of my house.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: There is no pan and tilt with this camera. However, I did not require that, so this is perfect for what I needed.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA, no support

Pros: Newegg being awesome as usual.

Cons: Camera arrived DOA, didn't try to set it up till weekend, could not find camera on network using the included software. Tried turning off firewall and antivirus. Logged into modem/router and even though the camera was plugged in via cat 5 cable it was not showing up. Swapped cables out and still no dice. Emailed tech support "" Monday its now Friday with no response, called Newegg for refund will go with another company.

Other Thoughts: A company often shows its worth with its tech/customer support. Anyone can have a defective product, it happens even with high quality stuff, but that's where the tech support should shine! I did not even merit a response from these people in a workweek, I feel I gave them adequate time.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: After getting my replacement camera due to manufacture problem. I was able to get it up and running. Electree did an amazing job of communicating with me to ensure I got a replacement quickly and communicated everyday! A+++ for customer service!

Cons: First camera had a defect from manufacture, but was quickly replaced by Newegg's RMA

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Once again shows me why I only buy from them. They did my RMA without question or problems and had the new item out ot me right away. The tech support by Electree was also very helpful. Once they found out I was sending it back they immediately contacted me and were in contact almost everday to get me a new camera and setup working. They have been helping ever since!

As for the camera itself. Now that I have it working I am happy with it. I felt the setup was very easy if you have some computer knowledge. The software is not great for viewing, but you can download free Ispy software, which is much better.

Cons: Having to send the item back via RMA because it was manufactured by Loftek with a screw loose inside the camera housing and install disc was broken.

3 out of 5 eggsOne out of two aint bad I guess

Pros: Easy enough to program. Decent software for multiple cameras. Image is clear both in day and night modes. Supports enough protocols to do most anything you need to do with it. Monitor software could be better. Forget an automated security cam, at least with this software.

Cons: Bought two, one worked and was recognized. One powered up but software couldnt find it and it wouldn't take an IP address ie, it was FU-BAR. Unfortunately I figured it out after the RMR time ran out.. too bad for me.

Other Thoughts: Picture is pretty fair for a 640x480 and night cam is decent enought to make a good security cam. Cam is sturdy and seems well weatherproofed. Just bring your own software.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Camera

Pros: Works great 90% of the time. The camera has a little trouble if power is cycled but otherwise works great.

Cons: If power is lost and then restored, sometimes the camera settings get lost and the camera has to be reprogrammed.
