Pros: I heard a lot about these from my dentist who was not pushy at all or anything about encouraging me to consider getting one of these. I searched around and noticed NewEgg was selling them, and for a discount that was too good to pass up. I bought two, his and hers, and from using it each day (and night) for over two weeks my teeth feel absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Cons: head replacements I guess are expensive but so far none really.

Pros: portable, high revolutions, long battery life

Cons: recharge time, small bristle head, replacement bristle price

Other Thoughts: Picked this up at a discounted price on newegg. You have to get used to this beast. When your 1st trying this out don't have your work shirt on because you will splatter tooth paste everywhere. I will be using this for a long time. Will recommend this product.

Smooth body stays clean much, much easier than old model
Keeps teeth extremely clean (dentist always comments)
Great for your gums
Battery will last an entire vacation easily
Makes cleaning molar and wisdom teeth far, far less of a chore

Cons: The replacement heads are unnecessarily expensive and don't last as long as they should to be honest. This is offset by how well the clean

Other Thoughts: Some say the battery only last a little over a year, but I've had one longer. Someone broke into my car and stole my last one (along with many other things), so I never really got to see the end of it's life.

Pros: Great toothbrush! I love it

Cons: not a huge fan of the two minute timer. I always have to push the button again to get my full brushing in.

Other Thoughts: this brush took some time to get used to. i went from a standard non-electric one to this one. It was cumbersome at first but after a few brushings it felt very normal to use.. I'll never go back to old school manual.

Pros: It's the best toothbrush you'll ever own! Leaves my teeth feeling clean.

Cons: Sometimes the inside of the handle can get grime inside of it, but the manual shows you how to clean the unit. The brushes can be expensive however I usually find good deals on them at Kohl's.

Other Thoughts: I've been using the same sonicare for atleast 6 years and I always have great checkup at the dentist. Also, my hygienist seems like she never has much to clean when I go in. I bought this as a gift for my husband, I hope it lasts as long as my current toothbrush has.

Pros: Don't need to be a techie to appreciate the value of this unit!

Not your cheap mechanical toothbrush the mimics the action of brushing with a regular toothbrush - but a whole new experience of
CLEAN TEETH!

My dentist recommended an electric toothbrush - either O r l-B or Sonicare, so when this one was on sale here at the Egg, I thought what the heck.
( Oh, this is my first electric toothbrush and I'm ummm, over 50! )

After getting over the giggles brushing my top teeth ( the vibration takes a few uses to get used to.. ) I found my teeth to feel like I just came from my semi-annual cleaning at the dentist's office.

Have issues with your gums? This unit will certainly help in that area too. It really feels good brushing the gum line.

You'll use less toothpaste as well. ( see other thoughts )

Replacement heads at Chinamart for under $20 2-Pak....name brand too!

Cons: Replacement heads can be a little expensive if you buy from Sonicare online. There was a coupon on the box for $5 off online purchases, but if you go to your local super chinamart, the Sonicare replacement heads are less than the their online price, even with the coupon.
And, super chinamart also has their brand of heads for even less money. However, in my local store I didn't see the compact heads ( my preference ) in either Sonicare nor Chinamart brands.

Other Thoughts: Don't gob lots of toothpaste on the brush head like you may be used to on your old 'manual' toothbrush...it'll just fly off when you turn the unit on. I kinda push the toothpaste into the bristles, put the brush head in your mouth before turning it on. Less mess!
And I don't wet the brush beforehand either.

Buy this toothbrush! You and your dentist will be very pleased!

And dare I need to say, but Newegg rocks!!

Pros: Definitely cleans better than anything I've used before, with the exception of the top-end model Sonicare brush I had before this one that spontaneously died and was refused a warranty claim for no valid reason. Here's hoping this one lasts more than a year, because I don't think buying highly expensive toothbrushes, regardless of how good they are, is something I'd like to do regularly.

Cons: Sealed battery. Shouldn't be a problem though, because if this one is anything like the last one, it'll suffer a mechanical failure while I'm brushing my teeth and just die for no valid reason.

Other Thoughts: This is my second Sonicare toothbrush. If it fails prematurely, I'm going to another brand, for sure.

Pros: Improved Gum Health, Teeth whitened by deep cleansing effect, Promotes more time dedicated to brushing.

Cons: with regard to operation: NONE
with regard to replacement brushes: rather expensive, but less expensive than having dental work done due to poor dental hygene

Other Thoughts: I read the review by someone complaining about water being trapped and the timer issue blah blah blah, I have used this same model for the past three years, my check-ups are proof that the Sonicare brushing system works, period. And it the timer causes you to use the brush for an additional minute and a half well isn't that actually a positive result in the end? This is a great toothbrush, it takes a bit to become accustomed to its sensation but once you are you won't go back to spinbrushes or manual brushing. Also, I purchased mine at a brick & mortar and paid twice the price Newegg is charging, my next one will be purchased here....

Pros: Easy to use, works great, Timer makes things easy

Cons: If you have enamel problems or sensitive teeth this would not be the product for you.
