2 out of 5 eggsMissing parts

Pros: Good head set, our sales team really likes the hands-free / wireless headsets.

Cons: When we ordered this unit from seller "VIP ACC" they did not ship the headband with the unit. We sent a message to the seller but they don't respond.

Other Thoughts: Would give 5 stars if item would have shipped complete.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent device

Pros: Having been on a waiting list for their first really wireless headset (i.e., no wires between user and the holder/charger, no box to wear on your waist), I received one of the first ones of these shipped more than 2 years ago. I even reviewed it for them. EXCELLENT product, still works fine almost 3 years later. I also have the handset lifter. The boom is light enough I wear that I've walked out of the building with it on, having forgotten it was there. It starts feeling a *little bit heavy* by the end of the day, though. It'll go for at least a 10 hour day w/o losing its charge. At this price, I'm thinking of getting a headset for my home phone.

Cons: On occasion, the lifter does pause briefly before lifting the receiver. Also, very infrequently, the connection has "scrambled" between the headset and the phone. I called Plantronics and I wrote down the reset instructions the help desk person gave me (hold down the silver and black buttons on the boom at the same time until the green light flashes quickly, and release; then hold down the silver button by itself until the green light flashes again, then release), and taped those instructions to the back of the charger so they're handy. Presto, the connection is restored, and I don't lose the instructions.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat help

Pros: Very reliable with clear sound. The automatic lifter plus the volume control and mute button on the headset are all extremely useful. I can arrange a solution to a resident's problem while still on the phone with them without having to return to my desk to put them on hold.

Cons: It would be helpful to have some sort of indicator light on it to show when it's in use - I work in a busy office and coordinate a good-sized crew but it can be frustrating when they come into my office and start talking to me because they don't realize I'm on the phone.

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm much less chained to my desk with this headset than I used to be, but with a multi-line phone I still have to return to my desk to answer my secondary lines, to put someone on hold, or to transfer them to another extension. The headset doesn't directly affect the phone and it would be difficult if not impossible to make it do so without taking away its ability to work with any model, but this is still a minor inconvenience.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent, reliable business tool!

Pros: 18 months after I installed it, it still gets through a full day of conference calls on a single charge. Go on mute and go to the bathroom! Very clear sound quality and utterly reliable.

6 different earpiece/headbands included - - lots of flexiblity there.

I couldn't live a day at work without this.

Cons: Other people sometimes say I sound a little distant and tinny. Takes a while to figure out which earpiece is the right one.

4 out of 5 eggsLike it a lot!

Pros: Sound quality, range, comfort, lots of different size adapters for your ear, battery life.

Cons: Lifter sometimes pauses before picking up the line. Awkward setup for the lifter if the speaker on the base unit is underneath the headset.

Other Thoughts: I have had the headset and lifter for over 6 months and like it. I bought another headset for my office last month and that person likes it as well.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent headset

Pros: Great Headset. On/off right on the side of it. Plus there is a mute button and volume control right on it. Allows me to not have to be at my desk to answer calls.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I do technical support for a large company. This headset gets used all day every day and has proven its reliability. I can talk to people even when im off in another room testing products out while I have people on the phone. The mute feature is also great, allowing me to talk with workers in the office while on a call without having to put someone on hold.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat product

Pros: this headset is a lifesaver! no more neck pain from holding the phone with your shoulder. very lightweight design.

Cons: well, it would be nice to have an option of putting people on hold remotely...otherwise you have to come all the way back to your phone and hit the "hold" button.

5 out of 5 eggs2 years of EXCELLENT performance!

Pros: I purchased 20 of these for my company, and have been using them for the last 2 years. Clear audio, excellent range and battery life. I can walk all through the office (and the entire building, for that matter) and have crystal clear communications. Love the mute feature too. Set-up is very easy, even for different phone types.

Cons: In 2 years of operation with 20 units, none whatsoever!

Other Thoughts: Don't think about it, just buy it. You won't regret it.
