Pros: Traffic updates worth it's weight in gold Huge screen Spoken street names Very easy to use Cheap Cons: None Other Thoughts: My previous Tomtom 540S just died (out of warranty) so I bought this to replace it. Even better than that one. One tricky feature was the "north" orientation. I want to see on screen my current direction, not always north. I had to change a setting for this. The screen displays a lot of info w/o having to make page changes while driving. A great upgrade from my Garmin Nuvi (King of the wild goose chase) Cons: Really none so far. I use it several times per day and there has only been one address in my rural area it didn't have. (Which is good in comparison) Other Thoughts: I will by a more upper end Tom Tom next time for more bells and whistles but for what I chose and paid this has been a nice GPS at a good price. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Cons: Charger went Kaput, which makes the unit essentially unusable considering the battery has very few cycles before it holds almost no charge. Second Tom Tom I've owned with this battery issue. Well that's at least TWO items they skimped on. They don't skimp or prices for replacement parts either, considering how poorly be made they're marking them up like crazy. Make sure to keep your receipt for EVER if you want to cash in on lifetime maps too. Had to do a system refresh on my computer, and TomTom wouldn't honor my lifetime maps for this until I got a reprinted receipt from the vendor. Wow. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.
