2 out of 5 eggsOnly good for 3 of the 4 wheel locks

Pros: Once modified, the smaller one worked great for the first 3 locks. It only takes about 1 minute to remove the wheel lock from the car using a 24" breaker bar and then another 5 minutes to get the lock out of the socket (after removing the wheel lock, it's embedded in the socket really tightly so you need to grind flats on the lock and then place it in a vice in order to back the socket off of it).

Cons: In their as arrived form, each socket has a large external hex at the base where the wrench attaches. This interferes with the ability of these sockets to reach lugs/locks which are located deep within alloys. I needed to take a grinder and remove the external hex off of the socket before it would fully engage my locks. Another (major) con is the fact that the socket stripped after I removed the 3rd lock. While trying to remove the 4th wheel lock, the socket would just begin to engage and then just spin. When I inspected it, I could see that several of the internal threads were rounded off/flattened. I had been using wd-40 on the head of each wheel lock prior, but apparently it will require something a little more substantial such as anti-seize.

Other Thoughts: Even though I only gave these 2 eggs, I'm still ordering another set so that I can remove the last wheel lock because the cost of ordering 2 sets is still significantly less than going to the Mercedes stealership.
