The 16pc Deluxe Ratchet Set is a universal tool that is great for use in the home, garage, office, or kitchen but truely shines when used in cramped quarters requiring precision; electronics, small appliances, computer repairs, hobby mechanics and assembly. The T-handle features an ergonomic grip postion that promotes an ease of use and superior grip as compared to the traditional cylinder style handle. The chuck for forward or reverse action is located at the base of the handle which makes switching between positions effortless with one hand. The extended reach shaft allows for maximum reach and a snap-fit locking tip to ensure all your included bits stay locked in place at all times.

  • Included Bits:
    • Phillips: PH0, PH1, PH2
    • Slotted: 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0mm

3 out of 5 eggsmeh

Pros: 10 piece set, and it ratchets

Cons: handle is oddly shapped and doesn't fit right in the hand when trying to tighten or when using ratcheting motion

Other Thoughts: For $10 or so its worth it anymore and it would be a waste

5 out of 5 eggsSweet Ratcheting Screwdriver

Pros: I've been looking for a nice ratcheting screwdriver, and this one certainly does the trick. Most of the body is hard plastic and metal, but the yellow part is rubber, making for a good grip. The bits attach quite securely to the tip of the driver; I'm not afraid of them falling out or being impossible to remove. Also, I can actually remove the additional bits from their rubber holders without a pair of pliers (unlike some other tools I've bought).

Cons: My one complaint is that the chuck for switching between forward and reverse is a bit stiff (at least on my unit). Not a problem at all when using two hands, but definitely not "effortless with one hand" as advertised. Doable, but far from effortless.

Other Thoughts: The chuck has a fixed setting (no ratcheting) in addition to the forward and reverse settings that are advertised. This can actually be quite useful if you are working in a tight space without enough room to comfortably ratchet the handle around 180 degrees.
