5 out of 5 eggsWonderful purchase.

Pros: All around a solid product. The sleeve is a very nice addition because of the strap. Handle is comfortable and the lanyard is a smart feature. I climbed up Mt. Elbert using it as a walking stick with a GoPro on it. That confirmed the build quality to be excellent. The sections never slipped on the rough terrain. Incredible monopod for the price.

Cons: None whatsoever.

5 out of 5 eggsNice gadget

Pros: Nice product. I bought this to keep my tiny camcorder steady to record at sons soccer games. I can't imagine someone with a heavy and expensive lens using this.

Cons: none.

5 out of 5 eggsNice, inexpensive monopod

Pros: Nice build quality for an inexpensive monopod. Lightweight and comes with the carying bag. Supports my DSLR & fairly heavy 80-400mm zoom well. Good price on recent newegg promo.

Cons: No cons that I can think of. If you need an inexpensive monopod, this will do the job.

Other Thoughts: As always, great service & shipping from Newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Solid

Cons: None specific

Other Thoughts: This monopod is sold under a number of different brand names so go for what's cheapest. I got the best deal here on when it was on sale.

2 out of 5 eggsthere are better

Pros: thick aluminum, tall, comes with case and strap, hand strap and cushion on monopod, height lock tight(i wouldn't advise putting any real weight on it like a hiking stick.

Cons: the connection from camera to monopod where the camera rests on after being scroowd in, it is not stable at all. feels loos and wobbles when you hold the camera. all of my pics with this thing have to either be on a 2 sec timer or the camera has to be pulled tight with the camera strap to one side . very inconvenient.

Other Thoughts: I'm a little worried my camera might fall off, that's how loos it is. i still keep the camera strap around my neck or hand for safety.

if all else fails... i can beat someone with it if they try to steal my equipment(its not that heavy, but i could sure knock someone out with it ;)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good quality feel

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Seems just as good as the $40 monopod available from my local camera store. I'm very pleased.

5 out of 5 eggsmonopod

Pros: tall, easily reaches 6 feet. All knobs and parts work well and support is good.

Cons: Made of thin aluminum and plstic.

Other Thoughts: This is a good monopod but I wouldn't take it anywhere too rough. I don't think it would stand up to a lot of abuse.
