4 out of 5 eggsNice Item, good price.

Pros: Compact, Looked shotty at first but it is a well built card. Replace a standalone USB 2.0 and another eSATA card.
Have had no trouble from it, and usb 3.0 works well with my 28 usb hub. Speedy Shipments for it went it said i would. a few days.

Cons: Had trouble with shipping information, but it was all my side, the shipping address was set as my friend's old address. Due to the expedient shipping process the company was unable to alter destination before it was mailed out.

Other Thoughts: With is device I was able to free up 2 slots and now looking for something else I be need needing.

4 out of 5 eggsNice, low cost card

Pros: No additional power connector required to add one USB 3 and e-sata port to a system. USB 3 controller is a Renesas which is supported in a linux kernel 2.6.32.

e-Sata doesn't seem to be detected but haven't spent a lot of time investigating yet.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The company goes out of their way to contact you immediately after a sale with driver advice (they must assume everyone uses Windows) and provide you with a dedicated email address to use for help.

3 out of 5 eggsNot plug and play.

Pros: Does what it says it does. Provides an eSata and a USB 3.0 port.

Cons: Card is not recognized by windows without the drivers. The drivers come on a disc that does not have auto play, and is pre-loaded with tons of other files in chinese. It is not clear what you need to click on to install your correct driver. I literally only figured out what file I needed to install from the newegg reviews.

Finally the website's download driver links are broken. The card is worthless without drivers. I shouldn't have had to figure this out for 45 minutes to use a simple usb card.

Other Thoughts: The card works, however the customer support, website, software and drivers make the purchase almost not worth it. I don't buy a card to screw with it for an hour trying to hack a driver for it.

1 out of 5 eggsIt'd be great if it had clear drivers.

Pros: Looks great, easy install.

Cons: Can't find a driver for it. Windows doesn't automatically recognize it. Driver disk does not work, website does not have downloadable drivers the link is broken.

Other Thoughts: Basically useless without a driver

2 out of 5 eggsOkay at best

Pros: Both eSATA and USB3 in a single card.

Cons: Drivers are beta drivers. The Orico website didn't have updated non-beta drivers. The only way to know what driver you need to install is by looking at an excel file and finding your card. It will then tell you which file to install. And nowhere does it tell you this, I found out about it from another review on newegg.

3 out of 5 eggsReview Updated

Pros: After consulting tech support (which has been a positive experience), I have updated both the rating and the review.
With new drivers, I am seeing the following results:
2.98GB file transfer:
Orico usb 3.0: 60 seconds on xp
Onboard usb 2.0: 2:27 seconds on xp
A different computer with onboard usb 3.0 with win7 64 bit: 24 seconds
Orico E-sata: 60 seconds on xp

So, a VAST improvement for the old computer over usb 2.0
According to tech support, the E-SATA slot is supposed to be installed as a usb 3.0 slot (and it is).

Cons: First off, let me state that this card went into the following machine:
Asus P5Q-EM DO Motherboard
Windows XP with SP3
CoolerMaster Scout 1 case
HDD tested is a 1.5TB Seagate 7200 rpm HDD, in an IcyDock Blizzard usb 3.0 and E-SATA enclosure (which works at speeds fine on my other machine, which has onboard usb 3.0 and e-sata)

1st issue was that the card didnt fit. It would slot into the pci-e slot fine, but was about 3/8 of an inch away from the back case slot. I had to remove the top bracket screw, and bend the bottom of the bracket out, to get it to fit.

2nd issue is that the E-SATA gets installed as a usb slot, just like the usb slot does. It is exactly as fast as the usb 3.0 is. Transfer 2.98gb in 60 seconds.

Other Thoughts: If you want a usb 3.0 card, and an e-sata card, get seperate cards, or just get a usb 3.0 card with 2 usb 3.0 ports.
It is nice to have usb and e-sata, just in case one or the other goes out, but I would guess if one goes out the other will go out also, since they are both on a usb 3.0 controller chip.
But, if you have an external drive that is both usb and esata, and one of them goes out (like what happened with my rosewill ext hdd case), and this card is still good, then you could use the ext case still with whatever other cord is good.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth it

Pros: None so far.
I guess a pro is that it didnt crash my machine, and it 'does' somewhat work.

3rd issue is that the E-SATA is as slow as usb 2.0 is.

4th issue is that usb 3.0 is as slow as usb 2.0 is.

Other Thoughts: I waited 3-4 weeks for this card to be shipped from korea, and this is what I get.
A major let down.
I would not recommend this to an enemy of mine.
I have a support email sent to them, maybe it can get resolved. Otherwise I will just to a local brick and mortar store and pick up whatever card they have in stock to replace this one.

3 out of 5 eggsCool Looks. USB3

Pros: Looks cool.
Interesting combo - USB and eSATA.

Cons: Card not shipped from NewEgg.
No drivers on their website. Apparently they email you an excel spreadsheet where you lookup your card and find the link to download the drivers. Hmmm
