Other Thoughts: I bought this enclosure because it was modern and sleek looking. It has been sitting in my bag and has probably been plugged in a total of 30 times. The USB port broke off inside the housing, rendering it useless. I tried to take it apart but it is built so that you have to destroy it to get to the front panel where it broke off.

Pros: Good build quality.

Cons: This is quoted directly from the items description. First from Asia, or not. Newegg should check this sort of thing. I'm just reminded of car dealers in the past that figured lighted vanity mirrors were the number one feature that appealed to women. "there are also 9 differnet colors to choose from which is very important for women."

Pros: USB3, light weight. Nice looking Easy to install and use. I bought 2 of these.

Cons: Bought 2 of these. One works perfectly at USB3 speeds while the other works only at USB2 speeds. Am RMAing the second one. Proprietary USB cable plug at case end. Would be better to be generic.

Other Thoughts: The good one runs my 750GB HD at just over 90MB/s while the bad one runs the same HD at only 28 MB/s. If I plug the good one in a USB2 hub it runs at the same speed as the bad one - about 28 MB/s

Cons: usb port broke off, just sitting in my bag. In about 4 weeks from buy date, which is past Orico's 30 day return policy.

Pros: The case is solidly built. It is way better than other enclosures I have been using so far. Putting the drive in is tool-less. Some reviews said they needed to use force to push the button to lock the drive. Not me. I followed the instructions and effortlessly locked the drive first time. I used it for the new MBP which supports USB3.0, it works like a charm. Love it.

Cons: I knock down 1 egg because it is relatively pricey.

Pros: Incorporated Sata3 chip (presumably should not be a bottleneck for Vertex4 via usb3/sata3, but I had not a chance to verify that).

Cons: Became unworkable after first detaching of usb3 cable.
Was assembled as piece of garbage.

Pros: Super simple to install a drive - no tools, just like the instructions said. I like this enclosure so much that I just bought a second one!

Pros: looks great. I have no idea if the USB transport works because I never plugged it in

Cons: a couple of times I was able to make it lock shut with EXTREME force. I'm too busy to even write these reviews let alone return stuff to newegg.

Other Thoughts: a day after ordering I received an email from Sqaew1ffe at marketplace.newegg.com thanking me, and if I had any questions I could contact shirley at orico.hk. I thought how nice, I never got that after a newegg order. I think it was the next day that I got spam in all chinese (I think), which slipped past gmails spam filter. I never got chinese spam before and I don't think this was a coincidence.
