5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Flashlight

Pros: This is a very well made light. It appears that issues mentioned in earlier reviews about the switch being easily activated by mistake have been remedied. The switch requires being push down at least half way before you hear a distinctive click that turns it on, seems to be well designed.

Some have mentioned that the end cap had to be cranked down very tight to get the light to operate, but this is not the case with the unit that i got as all it needed was to be tightened up normally and it worked.

Overall the construction seems first rate. The beam is very bright with a well focused center beam the reaches out to great distance, and there is also a larger and wider "halo" beam that provides light all around immediately in front of you which is ideal when walking with the main light directed well ahead of where you are.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Construction is very good and it is hefty enough to be used as a club in a pinch. The knurled section on the barrel is set back a bit past center toward the rear which made the flashlight feel unbalanced, however once the batteries are loaded, this becomes the balance point and makes it comfortable to hold. This isn't lightweight like smaller plastic LED lights, but neither is it heavy and much of the weight comes from the 3 D-Cells.

Bought this on a Super Saver deal and so far it looks to be well made. The real test will be when it is used over time in the real world where it will be subjected to being dropped and possibly banged around some. The body is sturdy enough, but I don't know how well the LED and lens will hold up to a little abuse. I am going to treat this light the same way that I would a Maglite which means that it will get an opportunity to show if it truly is rugged.

5 out of 5 eggsGood little router

Pros: Strong signal, good capacity

Cons: Cost

Other Thoughts: This was easy to set up, and the signal is a vast improvement over our old router. SO far the signal is steady and strong, and without a bounce router, I finally have good bandwidth all through my single story house.

2 out of 5 eggssmall, cheap, cheaply made, cute

Pros: - Cheap: I bought 2 packages of 5 on sale here.
- Bright: When/if they work they throw a nice, bright light.
- Small: Can be in the pocket on or off a keychain comfortably.

Cons: - Poor build quality.
- Not really rechargeable, uses a standard CR2032 coin cell.
- Out of 10 units 4 were DOA, 3 more failed with just a little use.
- Fragile - not really made well enough for pocket use.

Other Thoughts: I didn't expect much for the cheap price and got pretty much what I expected.
These are cute toys; if one wants a better pocket-quality light then it is best to get the 5-LED ones that use a single AAA battery - they are better made & durable.

5 out of 5 eggsWindows Experience Index of Board

Pros: Cheap basic board
Little noise
Runs cool

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The WEI of the processor is 3.8 and the graphics is 4.3.

I needed to put together a cheap, quiet, cool running system for a family member. They specifically asked for a traditional desktop. (They hate change and didn't want to learn anything new about computers.) It also needed to run cool, because they keep their house in the 80 degree range.

The build:
- LG 24X DVD Burner - Black SATA Model GH24NS95 - OEM
- 2ea. Pareema 2GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model MD313C80809S1
- SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series MZ-7PD128BW 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
- Rosewill RX-C200P 2.5" SSD / HDD Plastic Mounting Kit for 3.5" Drive Bay
- Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
- Rosewill 400-Watt Stallion Series ATX12V Power Supply RD400-2-DB

2 out of 5 eggsWouldn't honor my rebate

Pros: Cheap - two DVI ports

Cons: Slow

Other Thoughts: I just bought this on the cheap for a server. The reason I chose to buy it was a rebate -- which they didn't offer.

We've all gone through the rebate process and looked at the checklist. I sent everything they asked for, well within the rebate time period. But, they denied my claim. Won't be doing any more business with them for this reason.

4 out of 5 eggs3 years strong!

Pros: For what I paid for this, I am still impressed with its performance to this date. I am not maxed out like I would be with the newer cards, but for my level of gaming it is perfect. I can usually average 45+ on any game on max settings still.

Cons: Quickly outdated. I feel like an old person saying this, but video cards use to last a lot longer before a new line came out.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case, Bad Rebates

Pros: Looks sleek. Has some awesome cable management built-in. Comes with 2 LED fans. Lots of drive bays with easy access. The back PCI card inputs are easy to take out and put back in.

Cons: No top slots for a fan, a downside for those looking to water cool and put their two fan radiator there.
The side 180mm fan does not allow for speed/led managment with only one power connector.

Other Thoughts: Overall I think this case is awesome! But am very disappointed with Raidmax's rebate system. I expected it to be similar to XFX's rebates where you basically just buy the item within such and such a date and then can send your rebate in within the next month or so.

However, Raidmax's rebates are much less lenient to the customer. They give 15 days, AFTER the purchase to send in the rebate. I would have at least expected a full month beyond the last day of the rebate period to send the rebate.

All in all a few lessons learned here, always read the rebate sheets right after you buy the item and try to send it in right away and Raidmax is a pretty cheapskate company. Not sure how soon I'll be buying another one of their products in the future.
