1 out of 5 eggsNot so great

Pros: 4 PoE Ports which are still working

Cons: 4 standard ports...2 have failed.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this for a small church that needs all the ports working. Purchased from Newegg on 9/26/2012. I used to like TrendNet products but as of the last 2 years or so...it seems like all their products are being dumbed down or built just way to cheaply.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little POE switch

Pros: Great little PoE switch. I using this switch to run three Vivotek IP8332 cameras.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've become a huge fan of PoE. Being able to just run a network cable has made it much easier to put the IP security cameras where I wanted them. Not just where they would be close to power.

5 out of 5 eggsTruly awesome

Pros: Well built, stable power, compact design, and flawless operation

Cons: Can't think of any

Other Thoughts: I wish someone sold 4- or 8-port PoE midspans, specially without tiny, noisy fans. Until that happens, this little unit is your best friend for affordable PoE deployment in small installations.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This PoE switch has been perfect for my needs. I built a camera system that6 needed PoE and I shopped for some time for somethuing reliable and sturdy because of the environment I installed this in and am very happy. This switch is installed in my garage in Texas where the temperatures often get over 110-120 degrees in the garage. I am using 3 of the 4 powered ports to run 3 security cameras in my house and all has been performing perfectly.

Cons: None I can think of.

Other Thoughts: I am so pleased with this product I have sold 2 more to friends of mine thast loved my camera system and they too are building identical camera systems.

Pros: Inexpensive, small footprint, quiet, 4 PoE ports, quality

Cons: Only 10/100 - not gb

Other Thoughts: Worked instantly connecting PoE security cameras. Replaced a D-Link that had the loudest fan ever.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for the buck

Pros: Metal case, great vaue for the money

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I have 2 of these, one in a barn and one in the basement powering surveillance cams. Never had one problem yet. I was skeptical at first, never used TrendNet before but they have met my expectations.

5 out of 5 eggs4 POE ports strong

Pros: Running four "7w Max" Axis PoE cameras all streaming video over network.
7X4 is 28w, and this device can support up to 30w, so works perfectly for my application.

The PoE max isn't flashing with all 4 cameras on it.

Cons: wish it looked a little more serious, the funky blue color is bad

Other Thoughts: TRENDnet must really be trying to break this network market, with their cheap prices and high quality.
