ELM327 Wifi OBD-II Compliant Vehicles Auto Scan Tool

ELM327 Wifi is a diagnostic interface tool designed for data communication between OBD-II compliant vehicles and specific computer devices through Wifi. With compatible software or app, you can view in real time, diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) reported by your vehicle or various data from the engine control unit (ECU) which allow one to rapidly identify and remedy malfunctions within the vehicle.

Supported Devices:
• Desktop or laptops running Windows operating systems with Wifi support
• Android smartphones or tablets
• iOS smartphones or tablets
*Connecting to your device is done through Wifi connection

Wifi Specifications:
• SSID: WiFiOBD
• IP: 192.168.0.10
• Subnet: 255.255.255.0

Functions (With compatible software or app):
1. Read diagnostic trouble codes and display their meaning.
2. Clear trouble codes and turn off the MIL ("Check Engine" light)
3. Display ECU data, such as:
• Engine RPM
• Calculated Load Value
• Coolant Temperature
• Fuel System Status
• Vehicle Speed
• Short Term Fuel Trim
• Long Term Fuel Trim
• Intake Manifold Pressure
• Timing Advance
• Intake Air Temperature
• Air Flow Rate
• Absolute Throttle Position
• Oxygen sensor voltages/associated short term fuel trims
• Fuel System status
• Fuel Pressure
NOTE: How many parameters you can diagnose is depended on the vehicle manufacturer’s implementation.

Pros: None

Cons: Item would simply not read with any configuration to my 2006 ford even though it was interfaced, needs better software.
Purchased another brand with bluetooth and it worked fine.

Other Thoughts: Buy a bluetooth interface instead.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: It's a scam for the price. Most functions are disabled until you pay more money. Add about $50 to the purchase price if you want to actually use it.

Pros: you can trouble shoot your vehicle and even read graphs for things like comparing o2 sensors so you can make repairs. it was easy to setup and use. you can record graphs as you drive to find problems.

Cons: you have to purchase the full app from the app store for 14.99 to have full features. nevertheless I was able to use it with ease. so what if you out $30 you will never find a scanner tool that will do what this does for the money.

Pros: It showed up and it was fair priced

Cons: So far none of the software options that they list can find and communicate with the module not even the one that the OEM list. The one demo that I found that would cost $90 to download the standard version. I have three more I found that I will try later.
