2 out of 5 eggsStopped working

Pros: • Worked fantastic for about 2 months
• Slim design
• Feels well built

Cons: • Device only works off of the USB port power and no longer via the AC powered adapter. So if you have all the ports taken up, it will suck too much juice and turn off at random times
• Very lightweight so you need to tape it down or use sticky velcro or something.

Other Thoughts: This device worked great until about 2 months of constant use of all ports.

2 out of 5 eggsBad choice, go find something better

Pros: - USB 3.0
- Multiple plugs
- AC adapter provides power to USB devices

Cons: - Died after two months, it no longer powers on and devices plugged into it aren't detected from the system (tried both Windows's Computer Management tool and Linux's dmesg command-line tool).
- After 2 weeks I started to notice that if this hub was bumped and/or touched slightly, resulting in wires moving, Windows would see devices get removed and then plugged back in quickly; this tells me that there's loose wires internally, or they're not making good contact.
- Moves around easily since it's extremely lightweight and gets pulled around by the USB wires that are plugged into it; recommend a sticky adhesive for it, and sticking it to a solid surface like your desk or side of your computer

Other Thoughts: I never applied a stick adhesive to stop this device from constantly being pulled by USB wires that were plugged into it.

Honestly, I'd stay away from this hub if you can. Find something else.

1 out of 5 eggsComp fails to wake

Pros: Works if you dont put your comp to sleep.

Cons: Had it plugged in for a day, put my computer to sleep, it wouldn't wake up. Unplugged the hub and it woke up, tried it again, same issue.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks pretty well except...

Pros: Works well. All my devices are seen, etc. I can power my iPhone.

Cons: I'm on a macbook pro. I've noticed that when the usb hubs are plugged in, my wireless speed drops significantly. I'm on a really fast plan with comcast. When I don't have the hubs hooked up, I get 63mb down, 10 up. When it's plugged in, I get around 14mb down, 10 up. I haven't been able to figure out why.

2 out of 5 eggsFlakey

Pros: Seems to work great when it's working at all. Attached USB 3.0 hard drive seems just as fast as when directly connected to computer. Nice size, sturdy.

Cons: Goes dead during use. Seems heat related. If I wait a while, then unplug it and plug it back in, it sometimes starts working again.

Other Thoughts: Returning. Going to try one more since it's just what I need while it's working.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat USB 3.0 Hub

Pros: Small and compact. Stashes nicely under my laptop cooling stand. Cable length is correct for me. Overall, this is a great USB 3.0 hub that works with or without the ac adapter depending what you have plugged in.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: - Very small and compact
- Lightweight
- USB 3.0
- No feedback issues with power adapter and the USB ports

Cons: Nothing to really knock eggs off for. It's very lightweight and will move around easily with a lot of wires pulling in directions.

Other Thoughts: My iPod no longer makes feedback noises when I plug it into USB, as long as it's through this hub. If I plug my iPod directly into my USB ports, I get feedback in my audio.

5 out of 5 eggsusb 3.0

Pros: it does what it supposed to do, don't have to use the power supply, using it for external 2 and 3 terabyte hard drives, small footprint, cord from hub to the computer is about 18 inches just right it doesn't add to my wire mess

Cons: none so far
