4 out of 5 eggsdoes its job with one or two cons

This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)

Pros: does its job well and the mouse is a solid build. nice backlight

Cons: mouse wheel makes a noise when you use it and also if you want to see the actual keys the blacklight has to be on. not a problem if you have the keys memorized but if you don't either learn or buy another keyboard

4 out of 5 eggsnot for small hands

This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)

Pros: Great price, quality is very competent for this price range. Keys are responsive, led light is great. Dpi response is very accurate.

Cons: Side keys on the mouse are not for smaller hands. I can only easily get to first key unless I change placement of my hands which is too akward for me.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive for the price

This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)

Pros: Mouse if feels very nice holding it, and the buttons are a perfect size. The forward and back page buttons on the side are great when used for gaming. The mouse is also fairly durable. I haven't noticed any scroll issues on it like other people have either. The keyboard is also amazing. The LEDs make it look amazing in the dark. It has a nice feel to it. The spacebar is fairly loose, which is good for people like me who lightly tap it and end up with one big word in a sentence. The media keys are also really useful

Cons: The media keys on the top of the keyboard could be positioned differently. The volume keys stick when I press them sometimes. Also, I don't like that polished plastic look on the bottom of the keyboard. It's already filling up with fingerprints.

Other Thoughts: The DPI on the fly button on the mouse should light up, it looks kinda strange otherwise

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Keyboard, Cheap mouse

This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)

Pros: Great keyboard for the price. I've used this for around 6 months and I havent had any trouble with it. Mouse was great when I first got it, highly responsive and easy to switch DPI

Cons: Cheap mouse. As i said before, i've owned this for around 6 months. The mouse has random fits, and sometimes doesnt respond for a second or two. The mouse wheel squeaks, and very rare hiccups with the side buttons.

As for the keyboard, I only have one complaint. The light button is put together with the scroll lock, which was only really annoying when using Microsoft products, as it actually does something for the programs. Also the keys are very hard to see if its night and you don't know where the scroll lock key is. Once you get used to it, it isnt a problem anymore though

Other Thoughts: Definite must buy for this price. Works great, and lights up beautifully.

1 out of 5 eggsCM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)

This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)

Pros: Cosmetically it looks great.
The button presses feel crisp and are reasonably quiet.
The mouse worked fine for me.

Cons: Typed on my keyboard.

there re ever ey tht on't wor. i counte between 12 n 16 ey in . i hve owne thi eybor or bout 6 month.
_________

Typed using "On-Screen Keyboard"

There are several keys that don't work. I counted between 12 and 16 keys in all. I have owned this keyboard for about 6 months.

Also the directional keys will occasionally stick.

Other Thoughts: It worked pretty well out of the box, but with no apparent damage, quickly deteriorated.

Too long didn't read:
Save your old keyboard and don't buy cooler master.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty nice

This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)

Pros: The lights are very nice, the keyboard caps are like a mechanical keyboard and that could cause a placebo effect when typing. The quality is alright but amazing for the price. The bonus mice is nice too, although a little uncomfortable for my hand (small hand).

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Overall a great keyboard and mice if you want to replace you old one and don't want to spend a lot. Even if you don't like it, you only lose $30.

4 out of 5 eggskey board

This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)

Pros: very well key organization ,black color is ease to keep clean, mouse has big wheel which is comfortable to use

Cons: Could have a better palm rest or more height on the lifting pegs to adjust the keyboard . there is a 1/2 inch vertial rise on the front of the keyboard that hits ones palms which could be more ergonomic .

Other Thoughts: Needs at least some programmable keys; if the did that this model will sale like hotcakes

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)

Pros: Although intended for gaming, this keyboard and mouse is very comfortable for all uses.

Cons: The mouse Blue LED does not turn off if the computer is off. To turn off the mouse, you need to either unplug it or turn off the PSU switch.

3 out of 5 eggsgreat keyboard coupled with a subpar mouse

This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)

Pros: The Keyboard is fantastic it does what it is suppose to do very well. the keys feel nice and responsive. my main reason was the back lit keys. The glow from the LEDs is not too bright when typing at night. This was my first mouse with DPI settings, and it is nice to have. Giving the user a more mouse sensitive experience.

Cons: the main draw in purchasing this Keyboard for me was the back lit keys. this is a minor annoyance but not a deal breaker is keys must be back lit at all tiimes if you hope to see the keys. my main problem is with the scroll wheel on the mouse. It worked well at first but I noticed as of late it would barely register or go in the opposite direction for a little bit. As a PC gamer. Some of my games use the scroll wheel. It is a standard feature in a mouse. I could do without DPI Setting in exchange for a more reliable scroll wheel. that is why I docked two eggs

Other Thoughts: If you make a revision of this keyboard combo. The mouse needs a more reliable scroll wheel. I have since reverted back to my old mouse.
