Same finish as my 42" panasonic viera. Compact enough to mount behind the tv with double sided tape. Has a DC5V input incase you have lower quality HDMI cables that don't supply enough power. The IR reader for the included remote is a separate piece that has a decently long cable with included 3M sticker cut in the shape of the receiver. Cons: The user manual looks like it was written on a napkin that was ironed flat. The font is size 6-8. Not a big deal for me as this kind of device shouldn't need directions. Shipped slower than newegg does. Took 8 days to receive vs the thing i ordered from newegg the same day that took 3. assumably TOMTOP hasn't discovered newegg's ability to teleport things to your doorstep. Is this even a con? Other Thoughts: I only use higher quality HDMI cables from trusted sources. Not sure how this will work with junk ones. Reviews from other users of TOMTOP kind of freaked me out that I'd be getting a piece of junk. Fortunately this appears to not be the case. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? Other Thoughts: I have this attached to a Hannspree 20" monitor, with my PS3 and DirecTV tuner plugged in. No power supply needed. The IR receiver and remote work just fine.
